Love this! There may not be much of a story or conflict, but the characters and concept make up for it. I mean we get to see Walter Mondale spinning and scratching...what more do you need? Cool pod. Can't wait for the 2008 edition.

I loved the way you pulled those guys out of there comfort zone but made them feel comfortable. That takes skill and charisma. I wonder what it would look like to ask harder more direct questions after you've softened them up a bit? What kinds of questions could you ask in your next film?
Also, I wonder if that lady throughing the Bush party ever considered that terrorists also pray before they make decisions.
Love the song. It was in my head all day.

Nice job guys! You did a great job of creatively integrating political perspective in a way that made it both relevant and interesting. Love the video. Very well done..you have my vote.

I think this could use some heavy editing and focus. I don't feel like the piece ever commits to a message and the interviews with politicans are really wasted. If the piece is going to be more humorous, then stick with that, although I feel like it's mostly at the expense of the people who've agreed to be interviewed on camera.

This was a very good piece. Greenlight. 2006 is coming quick, and the midterms might not get as much attention as the Presidential elections, but they are damn important. Keep up the good work!
By the way, I am a republican.

Keep letting the politicians know that they need to do better. We've just finished with hurricane Katrina. Our politicians betrayed us. We are tax payers and they failed us. We are voters. We are american citizens. We are NOT refugees. Our government failed us when we needed them.

Wow I loved it- it was easy for me to make some kinda judgment before I even watched the video and I love it when I'm wrong. hehe--- I believe that these are the kinda youths society will listen to, the ones who use their talent and voice to do something for their generation. Great stuff!

Awesome,
Reveals the divide between politicians and the young people they are supposed to be representing. If these guys can't even connect with those who are politically minded, how are they supposed to reach out to those that aren't?
Nice work. - 6 years ago

Green yes, lean and mean no.
I liked the look, the feel and balls it took to pull it off. But you didn't ask them squat...Very few of us out here have ever come close to that kind of access to the political machine. Where was the rage? Admiration? Comedy? Something real...
I didn't cry, laugh or save 5 bucks.

This was great to see and it really embodies what current.tv can be. Democritzation of media could be revolutionary, or it could be stifled and diverted! It's up to us to prevent that by providing incentive, eliminating disincentive, and giving the new revolutionaries a voice.
Eh, maybe it was just a few local cats chattin it up with some politicos, but I was very impressed with the stylized and creative production and editing. I can't wait to see more from this crew!

great - loved the energy and soul of it - and especially glad you included the off camera stuff that most people leave on the cutting room floor and cut the heart out of things - especailly loved that you had these politicians forget who they were too - great camera and editing work too - good rhythm - and risk taking - keep it up and next thing to tackle is the media and yourselves while you are at it - do you - give em hell too -

This piece is an influential piece. When you get polticians out of their shell and into something they know very little about you have an advantage over them. Especially when they need your vote, they will hear you out!!
Great talent too,.... gimme some mo!

We liked the rap, the music, the clowning. Some of the voices in the interviews were unclear so we suggest that you subtitle those sections. Content is very weak & needs work. You need to be more substantial. There was no airing of issues so the amount of actual information transmitted was zero. (from the mom) the viewer from the targeted demographic was thoroughly entertained.

Really dig the story, the images, song, message, editing - everything. But I do have concerns about "secretly casting" -- when people with cameras gain interviews for one thing but use it for another, it makes it harder for all of us to gain access. If one of your questions had been, "mind if I use some of these shots in my next video?" you probably could have dispensed with the "secret casting" and possibly gotten even better footage. Otherwise, really well done.

From My tv studio in Minnesota I launched an all out media war with wcco kstp etc
in 1990 using this method I see some younger persons are continuing the battle in the infowar. I suggest the rap song BinLaden from Mos Def and eminem or the Mosh video from eminem..Mention IN YOUR FACE TV to any one in the media in Minnesota and watch the sparks fly One big media story in minnesota is How and why did monks at St.Johns university get away with smuggling Nazi Gold into the USA during world war 2,and why is it still at the university? St.Johns is the training ground for most of the big shot politicos, like Hubert Humprey Dave Durenberger and Mark Dayton etc.. My father was a Professor at St.Johns for many years until his mysterious Death in 1974 He is buried in the Monks Cemetery. What other secrets are buried at this Elite school? grab your camerea and go find out - 6 years ago

This is what we need. I love seeing my peers "getting their hands dirty" and opening politician's eyes. I live in Columbia, S.C. and this is just what our conservative, +70 yr old, politicians need to hear from us. They think they have all this time to act out their ideals before we realize what's going on. Well, that doesn't appear to be true!! Right on.

Nice, creative composition. "Fair and Balanced" ... albeit not entirely non-partisan. I'm wondering what role PCTV played in gaining access to the various big-name politicians featured in this clip? Good show!
