It was really incredible. It pointed out many main facts. Black people in America is just becoming a more degrading race in terms how they show themselves to the world. Alot of things have to change and come back in the back community. Things as simple and basic as manners. I hardly here black kids and parents using manners and in many cases the parent use the f-word on their kids hence increasing the problem. If something as simple as that is changed the I think respect will come into play and a domino effect will happen.

its time we start talking about this be part of the solution and not the problem. Family is the key start with the young and instill that pride, determination and self respect

Thank you for focusing light on this. In the UK we (Black people) often look to the US for what's in store for us if we don't fix up. 1 year ago I went to Alabama and many of the images in this POD remind me of what I saw. The situation here reflects the US on a smaller scale: alleged mental illness, over-repped in Prison system, over-repped in school exclusions, etc, etc. Black upliftment comes from a Movement of consciousness that permeates Music, Art, film, parenting, education and so on. We all just went back to sleep for a while (since late 70's early eighties with a blip in the early 90's).The next Movement is already upon us...! We all need to join a group in order to enable our individual efforts to increase.

Very thought-provoking...i didn't want it to end...left me wanting so much more...there is so much spoken about race relations b/w the races, but not amongst particular races...this film is very necessary and speaks a powerful truth...Remarkable job!
