Taxes... Don't you love them all!

It is not an issue of generating enough money from taxes, it's a matter of not squandering American dollars on special kickbacks and bloated government bureaucracies. We're spending billions on a war, billions taking care of inmates and paying their legal fees (they actually get free health care), while children in school are falling behind, sick people are just getting sicker, roads are becoming warn, our border isn't secure, and gas is at an all-time high.

Where is the accountability?

America spends like an ignorant teen charging up thousands of dollars on their Visa, and then never even looks at the balance.

Cut the fat, pay for what's important.

Stop letting special interest groups, lobbyists, and overbearing unions call the shots.

Where are the politicians with some balls, where are the straight shooters?

    • There is a great book called The Fair Tax that explains how to bring in the same amount of money for the government (so it isn't about lowering the tax) while doing away with the IRS and Income Tax. It reduces all those bogus taxes and loopholes for the select (both rich and poor loopholes) and replaces them with one tax that is payed equally by all. There is one credit for the really poor people of America instead of countless locations (currently if you needed government support or a tax break you probably wouldn't know what was offered or where to get it). Check out The Fair Tax by Neal Bortz (not sure how he spells his name).
