No to Baby Cold Medicines

Image

The FDA officially told parents today to ban cold medicines to kids under 6. No other alternatives have been officially recommended. This announcement likely comes to the astonishment of most parents that gave their babies/infants FDA sanctioned medicines for many years. Hopefully experts can recommend something to all of us waiting to help our kid's cough, runny nose and fever.

    • Ridiculous. I cannot imagine children these days not getting cough medicine in the middle of the night for a cold. It's cruel to the kid as well as the parents. I have direct experience that cough and cold medicines DO work for children under six. Does no one at the FDA have kids???
