    • What a great picture. I also read the story that went along with it on Daily Kos. There is a fabulous story that goes along with this picture and how it came about. Bookkillr, you should post the link. It makes the picture even more special.

    • connonym, back at ya :) I'm hoping all of us can meet at a Gore '08 Rally. One large conversation. I don't know about you, but I love the song 'Waitin On The World To Change'. I'm hoping Al will run and make it happen. I loved the Live Earth Concert, but I dream of a Live American Conversation Event, Peace and Hope!

    • Great pics -- Doesn't Al's smile trump any smirk from George W. I want Al Gore to run in '08, it's the hope that gives me faith in a better day for America.

I would like to see Al Gore choose a running mate that would Unite America. After watching Chuck Hagel on Real Time with Bill Maher, I thought he would be an excellent choice to help bring Americans back together. I would like to see something more than a third party, I would like to see an American Party. Gore/Hagel '08. There are many people throughout America who do not agree with the direction we are going in. Few have the courage to speak up. I am posting a site that has clips of Hagel taking on this Administration and both parties for their go-along-to-get-along mistakes. America is so divided, we need to bring in good Democrats and good Republicans. We can't stay United when we are more loyal to party than Country. Al Gore is a Statesman who has surpassed mere politics. If he runs, I think he will run as a Statesman, not a politician. Well, that's my hope. But, I'm only one lonely voice in Cleveland, trying to figure out how we are going to get back on track, to respectability in the world.

Al, I don't care who you choose, I will vote for you and do everything I can to get you elected. Today is the day and America is the place, run in '08.

    • Great pics -- great T-shirt and great smile from Al Gore. It could only have been better if Al had put his autograph on the state ballot petitions!

    • Fabulous. Another DUer here. And a shallow one at that. Who is the gorgeous man in the Al Gore 2008 t-shirt and is he single?

I won't give up on Al until he officially categorically states that he will not run.

Please Al, you're our best hope (and may I recommend Feingold or Kucinich as a running mate?)

    • Yet another thumbs up from democratic underground. Hope at some point (soon) Al realizes just how much support he has among us. He's still leading the pack as a write in candidate at Democracy for America's presidential poll. Run Al, Run!

    • My response is "please please run Mr. Gore". It would so make my day, along with millions of other Americans, not to mention people worldwide. Our country needs you. The world needs you. The current administration needs to be denounced and the world needs to know they do not represent most of America. Your decision to run would restore my hope and faith in this country. I am nearly 50 years old, married for 23 years, have two teenagers, and have always been politcally moderate. I have never felt so discouraged, pessimistic, and cynical about my country, even to the point I would consider moving my family to another country were it only feasible. I know this must be a huge burden, but have faith and be courageous. You would have so many people behind you. Please run. I just can't beg enough.
