With all my heart I wish Al Gore would RUN! We need the insight, intelligence and passion he would bring to the presidency. I've backed Barack so far, but what a great duo Gore/Obama would make.

Oh my, DIVERSIONS? You think Current is a DIVERSION? An Inconvenient Truth a DIVERSION? The work he is doing that is changing the way people actually think is a DIVERSION? You don't think he is serving his country, albeit, the world now? Sorry, but this is above arrogance to me. JanforGore.
Humm, Jan I feel the hostility exuding from you through each word written. Why? Arrogance is knowing you are able to correct a problem, but instead sit back smug and see if any others are able to do the same. Arrogance is giving hard hitting speeches, then giving inane platitudes with a smile when asked (or begged) to run, always leaving the door open. Arrogance is having a web site for all to voice their opinions and wishes, but ignore each of them. Arrogance is someone just like me that desperately wants Gore for president, to make excuses for him, instead of telling him the truth! An Inconvenient one for sure, but the truth nonetheless.

Yup! Diversions all! Your name, "JanforGore" tells me you feel about his bid for presidency just like I do, unless you're for Gore heading up an investment house, and using media to help people form opinions. Where do we go from here? Our decisions are made and who do we vote for who will carry them out? Remember, he said, "The best lack all conviction and the worst are full of passionate intensity. And then sometimes I hear people who agree with you and me about what's right and what needs to be done and how much work is still undone.....and they're LAYING BACK!" He also said, "Whether the vote goes the right way or not depends on one thing! One thing! And it's not out there. It's not on the TELEVISION SCREEN. It's not in Washington D.C. It's not over in Iraq! It depends on what you have right here! Right here! (in your heart)! What is in the heart of Al Gore? I hope it's not to "lay back" and let the worst's intensities prevail.

Maybe it's because, although he realizes we're drowning, we all don't realize we're drowning and he's the only person who can swim out and save us. I know he's intelligent enough to understand that, because he's the only one who can swim, it's his moral responsibility to save us. Perhaps he also understands that you can't save someone if they don't want to be saved. Or, to drop the swimming analogy, maybe he needs more support, more people calling on him to run. C'mon people! Let's hear your voices!

I feel as you, that Al Gore is the person this country needs more than any other to get us back on track. I also have a hard time understanding why a person who cares for our country as much as Al, would not take the reins and show those 20% Bush supporters, their way is just not what our country supports or needs. Adoration is great and Mr. Gore is bathing in it's warmth, and after the 2000 selection of Bush, I understand why Al Gore would be hesitant, but when is the time to put aside personal gratifications and tackle the most difficult problems of mankind head on? Only Al Gore know this answer, and I am another pulling for him to make up his mind to run. Hillary? Obama? Puleeze!
