It's Time for a Third Party and Al Gore Is the One To Do It

With all that Al Gore has done to advance awareness of global warming, the notoriety he has accrued for the Nobel Peace Prize, "An Inconvenient Truth," the Academy Award, his two runs for President in 1988 and 2000, and his service as a Congressman and Senator, I believe Gore is well-positioned to offer a third party candidacy for the Presidential race, something the American political system desparately needs. He has integrity, experience and political clout. Anyway, that's my opinion.

    • That's what I have been saying since seeing Chuck Hagel on Real Time with Bill Maher. I would like to see a Gore/Hagel Ticket. I call it an American Ticket, bringing good Democrats and Republicans together. America is so divided. Both parties position for their parties, not Americans. It's time for a change. If we are going to fix this country it will take both parties working together. Al Gore is a Statesman, he could unite the country by 'Speaking Truth To Power'. Everyone I talk to are not happy with party lines. I would like to see Democrats and Republicans unite to wake Americans from their slumber. Al Gore could show people all over the world, we are not all guilty by association. What has been done in my name (American) is a shame. In 2000 the Supreme Court gave George W. the power to do bad things in my name, I didn't! Gore/Hagel '08.
