Wow Hasn't this Guy Watched Viral Video Film about unnecessary use of After affects? See video below for more on proper use of After Effects.
That being said I really enjoyed the Democratic Youtube debates. It kind of feels like a gimmick to appeal to young viewers and voters, but I really believe it makes answering questions harder when they come to you from people who actually experience the issues they are asking about.
For instance a question from an Alzheimer patient asking about stem cell research is harder to dodge than if it came from Anderson Cooper. Politicians come off looking like jerks dodging real questions from real people...
