Our President Is An Insult To The American People, To The World.

blueplanet
The terror and fear our so-called president uses to control the half of the population, the half who is to dim-witted and scared to understand or care, has now reached a level of certain danger and warranted certain action by US, the people. Our complacency in this endeavor is now at the root of this danger, and is now our responsibility to make right. This administration is criminal. Period. And no amount of this fearful pandering over gay marriage, or "communist" health care is going to change this for the half of us who cannot or will not understand what is being done to this country. We now teach in this country, as a matter of pride...fear. Can we all just think about this for a minute? Our newest addition to the education system is a devotion to being afraid of what might happen! Fear of gay people, oh my! State run health care for everyone, oh no! People we've declared war on might not like us, oh geez! If we don't buy from China it might have to be made here...in America, good lord! I know this all sounds so very frightening...perhaps you should see a shrink...what, no insurance?

    • Keith continues to speak truth to power. We are lucky to have at least one journalist on tv who dares. Thanks Keith and keep it up.

    • WWOOOO HOOOO....LOL LOL LOL... I love how Bush supporters consistently use individual attacks as a way to defend even the most eloquent argument. CRACKS ME UP. It also proves a SEVERE lack of intelligence, or the refusal to utilize said intelligence....Hey, kinda reminds me of Bush in a COUPLE ways. Yes, I'm talking to you 1932. Here we have an AMERICAN, outlining all the FACTS, including DATES, and actual QUOTES. Yet you come along and attack this PATRIOT, infering that he is somehow less than a "reporter" and his opinion is somehow not important or valid. My dear, dear 1932... That is the AMERICAN way. Keith Olberman's voice is his own, but it represents the voice of MANY, including myself. Olberman, unlike your president, is incredibly articulate and eloquent, particularly in his critiques of this administration. So, my point is, find a valid way to attack the message. Don't wipe this man's voice off the map in an effort to devalue his points. That's distinctly un-american silly! As for your experience in Iran; I'm sure you learned a lot in your travels, but I hardly think we should ignore this administration's dire missteps based on your limited experiences there. Whatever Iran IS or ISN'T, is NOT the issue at hand. The topic ISN'T really Iran, is it? It's this president's incompetence, plain and simple. Please, find a way to disprove that; and when you can't find a way to do that, try to resist your urge to attack the messenger. After all, that is SO Rove...

    • I miss Jon Stewart, but Keith Olbermann is really, really good. Eight and a half minutes of Great Commentary. Watching when and how George W's wording changed, complete with pictures and dates is phenominal We need accountability! Keith Olbermann states facts, with pictures. What George W. said and when he said it, 'is' important. We're we being misled? Is it illegal to mislead us? Depends on what 'is' is?

    • Thank God for Olbermann. There is so little truth on television news. I look forward to his reports. So apparently do a lot of other news starved people. His ratings keep going up.

    • Another example of the free press. I am thankful that we have a free press where individuals - even individuals like this "reporter" can present their "own ideas" as a substitute for "true news". It is disturbing when they do so with all of the energy of old time fire and brimstone preacher. The danger is not whether or not Iran is capable of producing or nto producing a nuclear weapon, but rather the danger of a warped individual giving this knowledge to the preet day terrorists who have no compunctions about losing their own lives if they can take the lives of "americans" or other individuals who they perceive as their bitter enemies. I speak from personal experiece, have spent a great deal of time in Iran just prior to the fall of the Shah. While they were holding Americans as hostages in teh embassy in Teheran, tehy had the audacity to ask us to return to help them get the facility we had built for Iranians started back up and running. They did nto see the inconsistency of what they were asking us to do. We cannot trust the government that is in control of Iran, therefore even the threat of nuclear cabability is a dangerous spider to sleep with.
