Ron Paul discusses widely and in great detail his ideas on the free market, monetary policy, free trade agreements, and other economic policies. But you are right about Hillary, did you know in fact that Ruport Murdoch who owns FOX has held fund raises for Hillary Clinton? yes, it's a mad mad mad mad world. She is bought and sold by major corporations and the military-industrial complex. @ Marilynn, I do like some of Mr. Edwards positions, such as withdrawing troops from Iraq, shutting down Gitmo, and that he talks a lot about, and provides ideas for solving, poverty, which is something not many candidates address. I like that he acknowledges NAFTA's shortcomings, but it's not all too clear what he'd do about it. I'd just do away with all trade agreements completely. I don't agree with his stance on increasing minimum wage, affirmative action, universal healthcare, abortion, or his CITO idea however. Personally I support Ron Paul for President, but will acknowledge that Mr. Edwards seems like a genuine, hard-working and intelligent person. Also, he, unlike Clinton, Obama, Giuliani, and Huckabee, isn't on Judicial Watch's 10 Most Corrupt Politicians of 2007 list. that's a good sign. Clinton seems like a juggernaut amongst Democrats, I'd like to see nearly anybody except her get the nomination.

crob80227, You are right on all counts. The Republicans want Clinton because she is a closet Republican, and if they don't win they figure "She isn't so bad." She isn't saying anything because she doesn't want to offend anyone. Her experience that she brags about is being First Lady and Senator. She was not a very good Senator. Obama has not got enough experience at anything that would qualify him. Republicans don't want Edwards because he is a REAL DEMOCRAT.

Edwards is really the only one talking about the economy in any detail. All the Republican candidates have take a oath to only speak of 9/11, 9/11, abortion, gay marriage and 9/11. And Obama and Hillary seem to have taken similar pledges. Believe me, I'll take Obama over Hillary any day of the week. But he seems to be just as vague about his plans for the economy as Hillary. I sincerely hope that a lot of people realize a lot of the support Hillary is getting is actually from Republicans and corporate America.

He has enough money to last past his lifetime. He just wants to fix the mess we are in and for young people to have the same chance as he did for the American dream. Who do you think has a better plan for the country?

Marilynn, I apologize, I hadn't researched Mr. Edwards upbringing and do recognize that he earned his wealth fair and square. I still don't agree with most of his positions, but I respectfully withdraw my previous comment.

Six Corporations own the majority of the media. They want Clinton, because even if their first choice (A Republican) loses to her they still win. She won't even commit to fixing NAFTA let alone getting rid of her husbands gift to the middle class. She has her ugly head so far up corporate's butt people don't see what an ugly Republican witch she is.

I think the Conservative news networks love her because they think the old "anti-Clinton" resentment will bring people out on voting day and help the Republican candidate. But they also love her because even if they lose and she wins, well, she is so pro business that they didn't really lose too bad. So it's win win for them. The so called liberal press loves her because it's just so much juicier to write about either her, Bill Clinton or the fact that she could be the "first woman president!" Whereas Edwards is considered "boring" in contrast. Whereas John Edwards agenda for America would help the workers and Middle Class, eh, it's boring to write about. And those lazy journalists would much, much rather write about Bill Clinton or Hillary or Jennifer Flowers or any aspect of that saga then write about global trade agreements (which I doubt half the "journalists" working today even understand). Think about it from a typical journalists point of view: would you rather try to write 3000 words on NAFTA and our labor polices here in the states or write about how (gasp!) Jennifer Flowers went to a Hillary Clinton fundraiser! One is a helluva lot easier than the other. Sells more papers too, I bet.

Maybe they love her because she has fat ankles. I'm ramping up my dislike of her too.

Yes, Yes, Yes, on all points. Hillary is a closet Republican. Please let us be lucky for the first time in years and elect John Edwards. There is an almost total media blackout of Edwards because the corporations don't want him. He has to pay for any exposure he gets. Money is tight because he has not taken any corporate money. Send what you can. We desperately need a REAL DEMOCRAT.
