Seriously, a popcorn popper?

    • I thought that was Chuck Norris, but he looked different without his beard.

    • Roasted Squirrel

      1/2 pound of smoked bacon, cubed
      4 squirrels, cut in pieces
      2 medium onions, chopped
      1 stalk of celery, chopped
      4 cups of chicken broth
      Salt to taste
      Pinch of thyme
      Dash or two of hot pepper sauce

      Brown bacon, remove and set aside. Brown squirrel in drippings left from browning bacon; remove and set aside. Add onions and celery to drippings and saute two minutes. Add squirrel and bacon and enough chicken broth to cover bottom of pot; add seasonings. Cover and cook on a low heat, adding broth a little at a time as it needs replacing until squirrels are tender - about 1 hour.

      Rabbit may be cooked in this manner.

      Serves 4.

    • So why is this man a republican again? His state is highly democrat because its poor, and quite frankly as this New York Times article points out the poor are not the priority of the republican party elite. My grandfather lived in a tin shack, had a dirt floor, the same generation as his parents and they are dyed in the wool democrats remembering what FDR did for them. My great grandfather brought all of his children through school on the W.P.A. salary provided to him for building roads. Huckabee is a rock star, a baptist minister, and an eloquent but plainspoken man? He also cooks squirells in a corn popper. This is an election I think very very few of us are going to forget.

    • Squirrels probably are delicious with a lovely hazelnut flavour, not that there is much flesh on a squirrel save on his thighs. ;)

    • Norris may be easy to dismiss, but the Nature Boy Ric Flair is the kind of endorser who can swing an election, much like Gorgeous George's support pushed Kennedy over the top in 1960.

      "It's a tremendous honor to offer my support to such an outstanding leader as Mike Huckabee," Flair said in a statement issued by the former Arkansas governor's campaign. "His authentic conservative qualifications and level of executive leadership experience are unmatched by his opponents."
