BREAKING NEWS: Racial Hate Crime commited in Arlington, TX

The city of Arlington, TX (future home of the Cowboys) is in an uproar after a racially motivated hate crime took place in a normally quiet suburb. A 66 year old woman is in jail after shouting racial slurs at a young African American couple who was constructing a new home in the neighborhood and striking the woman with a 2x4. Racial profanities were also painted on the couple's garage. A rally is scheduled for tomorrow morning in front of the house and your's truly will be front and center.

    • what is up with the neighbors wanting the slurs down...did they go to that old ladys house and say how disgusted they were with her actions?? or hold a meeting to unite and denounce this hate crime?? did they confront those who spray painted the garage or threw dead animals???...ill bet you any money someone knows who did it ....but yet they want the reality of their prejudices taken down?? its beyond me...those neighbors need to embrace them and say this will not be tolerated!!! instead they want to erase it and live their lives with blinders..worried about their kids..trust me they are learning plenty from you!!!

    • what happened to innocent until proven guilty? Does anyone wonder why a 66-year old woman would attack a younger woman who lives four blocks from her home?
      Who benefits from this? Does anyone believe that an old woman is really going to run someone off their property?

    • People, racism will always exist and find its way to the news. Promoting tolerance is one way you can help. this is a very disappointing event indeed, however simply "saying aww..." and returning to your activity is not going to make it go away.
