Gulf of Tonkin=Persian Gulf?

JanforGore
With news today that Iranian ships allegedly had an "incident" with the U.S. Navy in the Persian Gulf, I was reminded of the Gulf of Tonkin 'incident" and how it turned out to be a false flag that led to the loss of 58,000 lives not to mention over a million Vietnamese lives. I am also reminded of a recent report that claimed there was no intelligence to support Iran putting together a nuclear weapon. So, will we have another Gulf of Tonkin incident to give them their pretext to expand their war? After all they aren't going to be impeached as they should be, so they have another entire year to escalate this and get fundng from Congress for it since they never do anything but back down concerning war. Do they think that the American people forget the past? All I know is, we better learn to learn from it.

    • yeah, kinda, except usa is already over in that area, and there are more reasons, like Iranian attackers bombing iraqi's, and iranian nuclear power, and a reason to ignore china till they enslave us and their disliked people.

    • This whole gulf war incident has reminded me of the Gulf of Tonkin resolution. I watched my father go to Veit Nam for a year during the Tet offencive, and i watched my youngest brother die because of inatentive doctors in the army not being willing to do testing on the symptoms in front of their eyes. He was activatated five days after 9/11 and he knew the as well as me that we were going to enter a war in Iraq. I watched a 235lbs. 6'5" man go to 44 lbs befor he died. He was 39 years of age. Texans just look at diplomacy the same way, I have a gun and I will shoot anyone that dosn't agree with me. In other words if you arn't with me you are against me.
