    • to the tune of Ruby Tuesday:

He would never say that he was wrong -
All that he would say was "911" -
      Into his cell phone -
      Or in a microphone -
      You'd suppose -
      That's all he knows - -----
      Good-bye Rudy Giuli -
Who could shed a tear for you -
When you're gone from the news cycle -
      Still we're gonna dis you - -----
It's no time to lose, I heard him say -
Vote for me or side with Al-Quiday -
He just can't be bound -
      To a bunker underground -
      It's safe to say -
      Ask Bernie K.- -----
      Good-bye Rudy Giuli -
You can't lead the GOP -
When you can't win in Miami -
Still we're gonna dis ye- -----
Don't question him at all, in any way -
He'll leak reports that claim you once were gay -
      Fighting all the time -
Cov'ring all his foes with mounds of slime -
It's such a crime (So we are celebrating) - -----
      "Good-bye Rudy" Tuesday -
Who could cast a vote for you -
      When you're merely a consultant -
      Still we're gonna dis you

    • I really like John McCain. I do not understand how Rudy Guiliani thought he could get elected by only campaigning in a few large states. That is complete democrat party mentality. Even the democrats are starting to realize that they need to campaign in all 50 states. My dream for this election would be a McCain/Obama ticket. That would really be something.

    • abcnews.com is reporting the same thing now... yeah, don't know if Rudy would help McCain at all as a VP candidate. Maybe Attorney General?

    • This could be the end of the road for Rudy--but the coziness that is being implied here by Halperin could open the door for the potential of a VP slot fo Rudy in McCain's camp.

Rudy and McCain has been nice to each other on various debate stages--in calculating what would make the strongest ticket should McCain go all the way, I would doubt that Rudy could help win the evangelical and more traditional party base that McCain is generally controversial with.
