    • very interesting. great juxtaposition between oposing viewpoints. hard to have an economy without trade though. If he was that bad why'd no body do im. the king and the blindfold and all that. history without the fanfare of the media might be a little clue also.

    • Interesting little piece you have here. I like the two characters you used for conflicting viewpoints. It gives a nice perspective on things. I think we could have gained a little more information if the interviews were longer, but otherwise, good job. Keep it up!

    • Nice work sister! Thank you for including the subtitles for those of us who cannot speak fluent Spanish. Loved how you blended stills with video!

    • Ahhh... this video is pretty one sided. Sounds like a Gusano, talks like a Gusano... probably a gusano. A lot of the "jailed" people that this gentleman from Little Havana talks about were found guilty in the Cuban courts for treason and were receiving funding from covert CIA operations in Cuba... If US citizens sell national secrets to the Chinese or the Iranians, they usually get longer than 28 years of jail time. They normally get a nasty shock or a lethal injection.

To balance this little pod, I might add that the the earliest immigration of Miami Cubans were landed elites who had been hoarding the wealth just as this man accuses Castro of doing. They took the Cuban People's money and created a media empire in Miami that to this day provides some of the most biased print and TV media in the world. And the US government has funded more shenanigans in the Florida wetlands than almost you can shake a stick at. TV Marti Radio Marti, Bay of Pigs, Alpha 66, Watergate, Orlando Bosch. Terrorism actually when you really think about it.

    • I hope someone has the heart to tell that gentleman that Raúl is taking over and probably not much is going to change immediately. The biggest opportunity for change is going to be from the USA, but that was the case with Fidel also.

Plus, what would Little Havana be like without all the beautiful Cubans?

Thinking differently, isn't that the biggest crime of all?

I like this little pod, thank you.

    • i'm not sure i agree with the last guy's point-- what he describes happens the world over, unfortunately, including the US. I hope this 'retirement' brings about some change, but first- and foremost- the US needs to get over the stupid embargo. it's time.

    • Great video. Now is the time for an enduring peace between the United States and Cuba. I know people here in the USA have so many different points of views about politics. There may be as many differing points of views here in the United States about government policy as people living here. In my view, the people of Cuba, no matter where they are living, deserve a much better than the Castro military regime.
