With the Palestinian death toll at 35 in three days, aides insisted the deputy defence minister used the Hebrew word not in its common meaning of holocaust but only as a term for disaster. A year-old Palestinian girl and a senior Hamas bombmaker were killed in the Gaza Strip yesterday as Israel stepped up air strikes in response to rocket fire.
In the last two days of air strikes more than 30 militants and civilians have been killed, and more than 60 injured in Palestine. Over the same period, Hamas has hit Israel with more than 80 rockets.

Funny how military, religious, and commercial interests affect the Palestinians (among others) so much these days... Bring the walls down. Why? Because all they (the "darkies") have are rocks while, meanwhile, the "civilized" world's nukes and air-force are practically unmatched. Exaggeration, I know, but for a purpose; any country who is occupied will be a country that resents what we call "freedom" - forced compliance.
