"Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive." William F. Buckley Jr.
This statement is tragically flawed in two very important senses.
1. The cost prohibitive factor is the free-rider quotient, assumed to be a value less than 1. This quotient can be 1, if all men, women and children on Earth follow the Golden Rule.
2. The fact that Mr. Buckley refers to costs at all illuminates the fact that his insight is limited to the physical World.
Lets change our perspective.
