The Democratic Party is considering whether to re-run the Florida and Michigan nominating contests to help settle the ongoing battle between Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Both states were stripped of their delegates because they moved their primaries forward, breaking party rules.

Because none of the candidates campaigned during the original contests, many Democrats believe a re-run is the only fair option.

    • The DNC is a bunch of idiots. I am saying that as an active Democrat from Michigan. I knew they would end up having to count us anyways. They should have let our original primary be considered "real". Now the state has to waste money it doesn't have. The whole reason Michigan made its primary earlier was to bring up the horrible shape the state is in financially.
