I think it those video's helped him. Actually. there have been many negative messages out there about him already. Bottom line is Obama Girl was fun! It was the most exciting campaign ever!

I think you answered it. Its good until its not good. Then there is the saying, 'any press is good press', but is that only for movie stars?

Liberal_Extinction apparently doesn't bother to do any research or make a single comment that could be backed up by facts.
"He looked at his chances at the beginning of the election season and knew full well that he had NO SHOT whatsoever to attract EDUCATED voters."
Obama has a strong lead in college graduates. Additionally, the majority of highly educated people are liberal.
"Typical gutter snipe liberal tactics, blatantly ignore the truth..."
Oh, the irony!

I think the people who are ogling Obama Girl's juicy thighs all day are probably not the same people who vote.

I think it helped up to a certain point, but we've passed that point. These kinds of fan videos get widely played, so they help with name recognition and increase the buzz around a candidate. That was particularly important in Obama's case, because he was a relative unknown facing an opponent that everybody knows.
It really is a dumb video, though. About all it really says is that somebody cared enough about the candidate to put it together. It adds nothing of substance to the political discourse.
In fact, I would say that although it may have helped Obama initially, it hurts the discourse by reducing politics to some kind of lust-driven personality cult. That said, it is not MUCH worse than the image and sound-bite attacks we call political ads, but it certainly doesn't help make politics better, overall.
I suppose it's possible that such a viral, amateur video could hurt a campaign, if large numbers of people see it negatively AND as representative of a candidate's supporters. But I think once a candidate gets the kind of support Obama has, it would be hard to derail that campaign with just a dumb video.

Typical gutter snipe liberal tactics, blatantly ignore the truth by trying to deflect the argument elsewhere. I still don't see EITHER of you addressing the true issue here. Racism is racism regardless of skin color, and if you don't think it's racist for people to show up to simply elect a skin color then you're even shallower than I expected. You fit right in with the majority of the obama supporters, good job.

lol, Obama will be shown for the true dimwit that he is the months to come. If there is ANYTHING that Obama can/ should be respected for it's his ability to face adversity. He looked at his chances at the beginning of the election season and knew full well that he had NO SHOT whatsoever to attract EDUCATED voters. So being the sharp guy that he is, he went out and created a NEW voting block. He sought out the dumbest of the dumb and delivered countless "fluffy bunny and cotton candy speeches" that contained ABSOLUTELY ZERO content, threw 'em on you tube and MTV and he's getting droves of absolute morons flocking to polls to support him. I can't wait until the replican election behemoth rips him apart leading up to the general election.
I went and voted in the Texas Democrat primary (cancelled out an Obama vote by casting one for Hitlary) and attended the evening caucus, I was absolutley astounded at the complete lack of an IQ that was present to support Obama, I didn't realize people could be that shallow. Numerous people OPENLY admitted that they were there to elect a skin color, sad...

Of course. It's what people want in this country where American Idol is more important than substance.
