Conventional view of this story is that when Palestinian children and civilian non combatants are killed by Israeli military, it’s a war zone tragedy - but when it's Israeli children and civilans who die, it’s a war crime.

Both circumstances are war crimes. The difference: one is a state signatory to the Geneva war conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and therefore is perpetrating state-sponsored terrorism. The other is a resistance struggle against occupiers. And under the Genva war conventions such armed resistance is permitted, but not against unarmed civiians.

By that measure, when Gazan fighters snuck across the border, engaged an Israeli military outpost in battle and captured an Israeli soldier, the Israelis and the USA call it "kidnapping". But when a mass of Isareli troops invade a Palestinian village and take away the leadership of a continuing campaign of non-violent protest - that's "arresting wanted men".

The world excused Tibetans for their "regretable but justifiable and understandable" violence. Had that riot been Palestinians.... different story.
The only Palestinian resistance the world sees is when it spills over to violence.

Why is the US still taking Israels side? Didn't we just try to broker a deal between Israel and the Palestinians? I bet if the US said, "hey, knock this shit off or you don't get any more guns and bombs!" they'd get their asses in gear.

the reason I put this up is because whenever someone speaks against isreal they are branded anti semetic. the reason palestinians are launching rockets at settlements is because of evil like this.

please send to as many people as you can. This is life everyday in palestine. They are 9th class citizens and are exterminated like roaches in their own homes. Isreali life is precious, but palestinian life is worthless!!!? Why?! every life lost over there is 5 too many! Please try to take just 10 mins this week and research the attrocities perpetrated by the isreali government againt the lebanese people and the palestinian people, and you will be OUTRAGED.

Chique - Israel is clearly trying to prove it's self-proclaimed position of super human race by attempting to provoke Armageddon, the four horsemen and all that - or, actually, and it's trying to help McLooser and the Ripusoffican friends and traitors of the United States government to stay in power by creating conflict in the world.

Trouble is, as much as I can tell, the world's prevailing and dominate religions don't provide for such a scenario.

This was senseless! I cannot believe that they even shot at ambulances trying to get a young girl out of there.

It pains me to say it, but in these areas of the world, the people are acting like animals. They value no lives at all.
