Dean Kamen invented a machine that purifies water, in answer to the water crisis the world is facing. It really is a fabulous machine, but, used the right way, it will solve our water crisis. Imagine one of these machines in our homes--we'd never waste water again! All our plumbing can be connected to the central system that purifies the water and out our taps comes the clean water. As Stephen Colbert said "No one tell him about Brita."
Also, any waste we produce can be set aside as an energy source, combining that with solar and wind power ... we'd be energy independent! That's a great vision of the world.
