In remembrance of the 4,000 brave men and women who sacrificed everything for us -- and the two men who would continue this great tragedy, despite the cost to our soldiers, our military, and our nation.

    • Dreadfuly poigniant. I posted a piece of art called Katrinas wardrobe here on Current, a woven tribute made of clothing from those who passed away during the storm, formed into an 18 foot long interactive art piece. Art allows us to see the enormity of tragedy, to bring the human costs to the fore, as painful as it may be its important part of healing to acknowledge the loss that stands before us. Its sad but truth that to many of us each of those lives is just a pixel, but for 4,000 families it represented the life of someone that they loved. This piece may be political, but art should call for acountability for exactly the reasons I just stated. Because those two men and all of the senators and congressman who authorized the war are responsible in thier own way for those lives, and they need to view those lives from the vantage of the families before they discard them as easily as a pixel.

    • FUCK BUSH and all the NEOCON devil worshippers.

Whew. Just had to get that off my chest.

JonClark, sorry man. That's pretty shitty to say the least.

I think the person that made this is just trying to bring home the harsh reality of how shitty these pricks are, and there's no better way than to show the human cost of the blood on their hands.

I think they really DO care about the people that were used as pawns in this oil game.

      PEACE.

    • I think it is sad that anyone would think this is a good way to remember the 4000+ dead soldiers who lost life for this war. I think who ever made this cares nothing for any soldier who has died but more about who they think should be in the white house. Its just sad because my brother is on that, "amazing, wonderful, moving, touching", work of art.(That is only if they really do have all of the victoms of this sick war on the work). the only word I would agree with I have seen is "disturbing", because thats what it is to me. So before we make people we dont even know our way to get back at Bush and the Neo-f***ks think about who is still on earth alive who you may be hurting he has 3 kids and a huge family. just make sure you vote this time and you may see an end to this pain of war, my pain will live forever.

    • This is really powerful but the picture would be a heck of a lot bigger if the pictures of all the killed Iraqis were included
