    • Graffiti is a form of art, but it is not socially political. People claim that it's art and a way of expression, but what happens when gangs start writing and marking territory? The people on the video use unappropriate language and it portrays the typical tagger. What you should do is send positive messages and not have people swearing as much or having people saying it's "cool" but give a better explanation why graffiti should be kept on the streets. I know a "tagger" is just a label and they're not bad people, but the public does not see this. They see a latino talking in such verbal language and portrays nothing but trouble. We know how ignorant the Media is. One last thing if "taggers" are doing graffiti to write their name HOw is this REVOLUTION??? Educate yourself before talking. The political system has nothing to do with graffiti because all people do is write their names or their crew names. Graffiti has nothing to do with setting us free!!!

the act of graffiti is an act of freedom...something you've probably never did...so before you start talking about how not revolutionary graffiti is, educate yourself in life not just your your school textbooks...

    • Theres no way it will air way to much cursing, but other than that, I think the beginning was a little to long, for an intro, I think it would have been cool if you were out in the street, talking personally to some of them. I think you could have overall put more on the scene kinda feel, it was like everything was hidden. I understand that some cats wouldn't want to be outside talking about that kinda stuff but, put a bandana on, shoot from the back, I don't know it could have been better, but I did like it, gave me insight on how another part of the "O.C" is like.

    • I really wish ALL tagging had a point to it, political, social, or just for the pure beauty of it. unfortunately most is just somebody's name or crew or whatever and those quickly done "I just wanna get my name out" pieces are unsightly. I am overjoyed to see that it can and is being used to send a powerful message and I agree that punishments are so harsh. However, it's sad that so much of graffiti is gang related, if just because gangs cause unnecessary violence and hatred (usually over really stupid things, too) whereas if graffiti artists could just band together it could be a beautiful thing.

      nice vid.

    • The graffiti that is done like artwork is truly beautiful. I would have rather seen this kind of art instead of blah like things I tend to make today.

    • I grew up taking the A train and others to and from Brooklyn when I was young. And there wasn't nothing more exciting than see a fresh white train just painted the night before, with what a considered and still consider to be uncensored art. Writing or Tagging is pure emotion, expression, and rebellion. Don't you guys remember the movies, "Beat Street" and "Breakin' 1 & 2" Tagging is part of the foundation of urban living and Hip Hop. Without tagging, DJ'ing, MC'ing, Breakdancing, Battling, or Hip Hop Fashion. Hip Hop Culture would be like having Thanksgiving dinner without the Turkey and Gravey!!

    • Tight vid. Although I wish there was more points of views of how different people view tagging in general. Other than that, it was some insightful piece of material.

Kudos Dre. You have my props.

      Regards from Spick!!!
