It's not about "liking" guns. It's about survival. It's certainly not about "feeeeeelings".
People get ahold of guns illegally for evil purposes all the time. Guess what? They don't give a shit how you "feel". They will TAKE from you and think NOTHING of you. You are just prey to them.
This whole mentality of "I don't like guns" and "Only so-and-so should have X" combined with "don't take the law into your own hands" has resulted in the escalation of crimes of violence. They KNOW you don't want to do anything, and therefore, the consequences are delayed. Murderers also know that most crimes are not solved, especially if they're performed in a reasonably intelligent way.
Prey. That's what people like you are. Man up and learn to fight. Do so ONLY at the appropriate time.

I like what you are saying, but feel students should also be allowed to be armed if they are trained...on my campus we have 2000+ students, plus more than 1000 instructors, and the staff and all...depending on 3 security personal on bicycles...

Why should only the Police & Security be allowed to be armed? The right to be armed for self defense is a natural right that has existed since the beginning of time, and is protected by the 2nd Amendment. Americans are never made safe by disarming them. Such a thought process is absurd & has absolutely no basis in fact.
