Barr considers White House run

Vierotchka
Former Rep. Bob Barr, who made headlines during Clinton Impeachment, considers Presidential bid on Libertarian ticket.

But the idea is prompting some concern in Republican circles that Barr might play the same spoiler role Democrats say Ralph Nader played running in the 2000 race between George W. Bush and Al Gore.

Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

SOUNDBITE: Bob Barr

Oh, yes, Mr Barr - please do run, I insist! ;)

    • Interesting...I definitely agree that the American people shouldn't have to pick between only 2 of parties; That are fate be between two opposing alliances. But I also believe that we've had a lot of candidates to choose from over the past 5 or 6 months and it seems things get screwy when someone throws in their hat for the presidential run.

I don't know, it'll be interesting to see what happens.
