VoyagerFilms, cool vid.
jjmaster, I'm with you on wanting to believe in Barack but don't. He stands way above Hillary and McCain in my opinion.
Cosmo_Plavix and jasminerafique, you both make great points. Jas, I agree that we probably will not see any evident change in policy. Cosmo, it's so true about how our society just seems to have succumbed to apathy and simply want to be left alone. The thing that I think will ultimately either bring us together or tear us apart is the looming inflationary depression that is staring us right in the face.
I've always leaned to the left (Clinton, Gore and Kerry) but the more that I've delved into economics (esp. the Austrian school) and Chalmer Johnson's works on American Imperialism the more I've been attracted to libertarianism. Listening to Ron Paul speak was like a breath of fresh air. He was speaking truth to power with such conviction and supporting his ideas with an almost encyclopedic grasp of foreign affairs, economics and the constitution.
I'm afraid that the two party system exists solely to distract us from the real issues. Every election it's the same talking points. Our citizens need to wake up and realize that it's a shell game. We need more representation. I fully support the idea of having the Libertarian Party involved in the debate. Then Democratic and Republican ideals would be put to the test. Jesse Ventura made an interesting point recently that if we "put 'none of the above' on the ballot it would win."
I really enjoy listening to Obama speak. He is amazing. Too bad we'll never see a Paul/Obama ticket.

Cool clip. It needs to be shortened to 15 seconds to match the latest attention spans. (kidding)
I believe that, should Barack Obama get the gig, we will see a profound change in the administration and far beyond. He will have to be brilliant and not afraid to show it. After 8 agonizing years of, "Aw shucks", America should expect nothing short of greatness and strength in leadership. His new staff must reflect that and demand nothing less from all whom they deal with on a daily basis. Consequently, there will be terminations and many, many resignations. That's just fine by me. It's time to clean house. - 4 years ago

jasminerafique,
The only way I could say you are wrong in the above statement is that the past 8 years we have seen U.S policies change in a most violent and disrespectful way. I can only hope that we are smart enough to pull the curtain aside now and expose what has really gone down behind closed doors while the American public thought everything was normal. This American Empire is ready to fall and it will be this next president who will take us through the fall. There will be panic on many levels. I personally like the way Obama has managed his way through this campaign. When the shit really starts to hit the fan we will need to try our best to be rock steady. That food and water crisis is a tsunami making it's way into the homes of every American. If we are not mentally and emotionally moving to higher ground right now this will be difficult. Hillary and McBush are NOT placing their feet on high ground. They are keeping themselves alive by continuing to pleasure the small mind and small emotions that we have allowed our Nation to become. We are WAY better than this and we can get there. - 4 years ago

What I believe is these Presidents cannot bring any change because policies continues for decades.
Presidents are played by the Intelligence Agencies, Zionist Lobbies and lot many factors that we also aren't aware of...
There will be no evident change in U.S. policies,,, that's what I believe.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Look, by (WE) the people expressing ourselves, WE provide a mandate to our elected officials.
WE the people, have been motivated to embrace Obama, not for slick words, but because he expresses the sentiments of the people.
Some politicians can only hear our mandate by getting them out of office. Some, hear us and are responsive to it.
Every thinking American must question the mentality of Republicans voting in block - as though of one brain - on issues as our elected representatives. It is impossible that those elected representatives of the people were advocates for, or representative of their respective constituencies.
Remember that notion - that elected officials were in Washington not for self enrichment, but as representatives of their constituencies?
Those who are blind followers of the Ripusofficans on some unconscious level have subverted their responsibility for self and handed it carte blanc to a "daddy" figure, in this case it's any Ripusoffican that is put before them.
The litmus test of a candidate is whether the candidate sees themselves as a representative of the people, or the appointed head.
The answer to these questions shouldn't be too hard to determine;
Has Busheney or any Ripusoffican listened to the American people and responded to our will, or have they ignored our calls and proceeded as though we weren't here and did not matter?
Is Hillary a part of the mentality and political machine that plagues our country?
Is McCain another 4 years of the Busheney administration?
Is Barack Obama and his candidacy a product of OUR frustration and growing desire to take back our country from the exploitation of big business and special interests?
Can you deny there are over 35,000 special interest lobbyist in Washington D.C.? Can you deny that they have influenced those who have been entrusted to represent us? Can you deny the bribing of our elected officials and molestation of governmental policy has reached an all time high under the current administration and many Democrats as well? Have you heard of the housing crisis? Have you heard America, no, Busheney admin. has subsidized American manufacturing's (and jobs) deportation to China? Are you aware it was the Clinton's who rammed NAFTA down our throats which also sent American manufacturing (and jobs) out of country?
Tell me how, please, how sending American jobs out of this country is good for Americans?

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF OBAMA'S RHETORIC ADDED UP TO CHANGE...I WANT TO BELIEVE, TRULY I DO... WHAT PROCESSES THAT HE PROPOSES FOR CHANGE DIFFERS FROM THE GOOD OLD BOYS POLITICAL MACHINE.. WHAT EXACTLY WILL CHANGE AND HOW? TELL IT! What makes him the miracle worker? Words are one thing, and his are nicely presented... but how will he implement his proposals? I wish that I could believe, but I just don't.

you don't really know how short 26 seconds is until you try to say something important with it, eh? ;) hehe it's quite good for the brevity; except that I'm sure some warped fool is gonna hi-jack that "endowed by the Creator" part as infringing on his self-interpreted and absolute freedom from religion just to further the meme =/
...I would have preferred to see each important word stand on its own...BIGGER...and alone...fading and/or panning in, then out. the sound was good...the heavy "slam" (or whatever) at the beginning would be nicely repeated to fall on cue and in synch helping to announce and convey the "proper" impact of those words when actually hit the screen... LIFE (slam! fading echoz) SEX (slam! fading echoz) and the PURSUIT OF MORE SEX (Slam! fading echoz)... ;P
