    • THANKS ZARA. The info' I found about Iran's nuclear program showed low grade enrichment for fuel purposes not weapons. However, Iran and any country has the right to defend themselves. Even a Republican Named Ron Paul will tell you that and even common sense will tell you that. However, greedy people in the US gov, international large oil corporations, and the US media want to paint a fully evil picture of Iran to help sway public opinion to allow the US to retake or imperialize Iran's oil riches.

    • I just watched Iranian President on LK live and i think he's telling the truth about alot of these issues of nuclear power..he stated that thats the old way of things the new way is though speaking with intellegence not war and stated that he tried on many accasions to sit down with Bush and he declined...

the ppl of America is being feed lies to go to war...he also stated many other states have Bombs of mass destruction so why are they no bein look at under a microscope as Iran is...

Sadam was givin means to go to war wit Iran by the U.S for 8yrs...and then was asked to help get rid of him he declined to help so they maybe be upset over that or just want there resource or oil....

      to be continued...

    • We cant afford another conflict! The US is in so much debt, and we are hurting as it is. I think the reason behind the US military wanting to attack Iran is simply that the country holds the 2nd largest oil field known to humans. It is no coincidence that the US military is in Iraq, which holds the largest oil field in the world.
We need to convert over to more efficent technology, renewable resources, and change in life styles asap or even more innocent people (mostly women & children) and cultures will be sacrificed in the name of oil!

    • First of all, excellent reporting, every once in a while we have to breakdown the basics. Loved it.

My believe is that Iran, Ahmadinejad and their allied economies are excellent strategists,
      think about this scenario . . .

The U.S. keeps ramping up to fight everyone that sees as a threat because of either terrorism or possession of natural resources, a fight against countries that only appear to be an eminent threat. Meanwhile, we spend what we dont have on security while other countries are spending on what I perceive as "sustainable progress" i.e. U.A.E. & Qatar. With this strategy, the economies of individuals like Ahmadinejad and let say Chavez, or Putin, I mean Medvedev, where oil is a predominant sector ensure that we make them rich (hint: current cost of oil barrel and compare it with Iran's current economy or Venezuela's-try wikipedia for fast data). Furthermore, to ensure the world strongest country/economy comes crashing down in the 21st century; you make them waist their most precious resource "its patriots" consequently spend as much money on contractors to overcome an unnecessary shortage of dedicated protectors. Then, because of our negligent handling of our most valuable resource, we are seen as unfit leaders of the world economy. . . Iran and its allies wins . . . a smaller lonelier US to worry about. No nuclear holocaust.

      . . . just a thought

    • none of those asked knew where Iran was on the map. yet they probably have an opinion on what should be done with the current situation the west faces with the middle east, not just Iran. We ALL need to reach out on our own and educate ourselves on ALL the issues so our governments can no longer fool us! it is OUR responsibility. Lets make our governments make the right decisions.

    • I can really not see any benefit of invading another country, especially Iran. That's not to say that infringing on another nation's sovereignty is ever a good thing for anyone. Which has been plainly shown by the last fifty years of American foreign policy.
