Janeane Garofalo - prophecy in a Pre-Iraq War World

SamuraiDave
I came across this clip of Janeane Garofalo on Fox News that aired February 2003 before the Iraq War started. It's interesting to listen to the debates of that time many of which are dead in the water now such as WMDs, Saddam being in power, Colin Powell's speech to the UN, etc....

Meanwhile Fox's Brian Kilmeade displays typical Fox "journalistic" practices of bombarding someone repeatedly with questions and not giving them time to answer while also framing the question to make his counterpart into something they are not.

What is eerie is her statement around 5:50 when she says she feels this will be one of the worst chapters in American history. If only enough people with enough sense and sanity had listened before charging in....

    • In reality Fox News is just a propaganda machine, so I'm not really surprised that they are using character assassination tactics in this interview.

    • Fox's Brian Kilmeade - is an ignorant ass.

      Good for Janeane Garofalo.

Good advice: don't argue with an asshole, it's a waste of time.

Fox News is an affront to all people of conscience and intelligence.

I am beginning to see the virtuosity in Rove's position on capital punishment - I might reserve it for people like Brian Kilmeade and all who enable him, including Rove himself.

This is really going down in history as a black stain on America and ALL who were complicit. It won't last and it is crumbling fast.
