not sure who that was at the door, I live in a weird artsy area so we end up getting a lot (and I mean a LOT) of tourists walking around here.

I go both ways about me staying - on one hand, this is just a little blog (as opposed to other much more brutal) and kicking me out would do more harm than good; why am I staying? it's strange. I want to see this thing out. this show, ending in 3 weeks with me going 'oh well' wouldn't make as much sense, you know? also, I've been keeping the few weeks after the games as my final chapter to write in my little memoirs I've been working on.

we'll see - regardless, it has, and will continue to be, interesting.

The air must be better in the Winter in Beijing. In Feb, quiet a few of the days I was there had clear blue skies. I was wondering where the famous Beijing pollution was hiding.

By far the worse was localized pockets of fumes - smokers. :) I remember getting off the plane and walking into a wall of cigarette smoke. haha - my poor pink pampered lungs.

maybe it works with going back to the states, get a visa from there and coming back, like your pharao buddy did?

Haha.. As we only ever see your big (handsome) head, we don't know whether you keep your door open while you record. I assumed you sat in your living room or something, and recorded from there. Who was that at the door?

Yeh Kev is a pretty good guy. Very upfront and honest, for a politician at least. I can't remember if I actually voted for him.. hehe.. you can tell us Aussies don't really care that much about politics in general. I think that if voting wasn't compulsory, there'd be a lot of people not voting.

3 weeks.. not a long time.. I really hope you get to stay but I have to be honest and say that I have a bad feeling about it, not that I believe in psychic stuff. I just don't see a reason why they would want you to stay. As long as you don't get banned from the country, you should be able to get back in after everything settles down again next year.. but just think of that wasted time out of the country.. oh well.. I'm sure you will do well no matter what you do.. you are a resilient kinda guy.
