Mrs. McCain looks and acts like a first lady should look and act. Michelle Obama has earned her negative ratings because she is a negative person. She is 44 years old and will not change. She will just start acting as though she is not negative.

If Michelle isn’t proud of America why don’t they both go back to Obama’s precious Kenya or to Indonesia where he attended all his Moslem Koranic classes until his teen years.

One of these two are going to be making so many decisions in our country. We need to seriously stop trashiing wives, get past the racial bull and investigate for ourselves what these men repersent, what laws they have pushed in their current offices. The bills in current office they brought forth or supported will tell more than all this campain trash. The right to choice and elect our leader is a awesome right that many nations, people, don't have. No one should be busy trashing anyone but researching the truth where it ls not news or campain trash. I like both women for different reasons. Who could help but appricate someone that declined wealth to get her master degree to teach special needs children especially down syndrome children or who went to the orphange and supported mother Teresa in Bangladash, from which she adopted their forth child, a little girl like Cindy McCain did and is doing.

I'm just glad they don't know about my past drug use. (Don't tell the McCain initiative cause I'm voting Obama).

I haven't decided who I am voting for but in all fairness. Cindy McCain in 2004 had a sever stroke that took alot of medical treatment to get where she is now. Her husband came home from Vietnam in 1973 and stayed with his wife until 1980. John McCain and his x-wife have no problems with each other. Coming back a POW was a rough thing for them. Cindy McCain travels world wide and gives a great deal of money for children to have medical care that would have no hopes ever having any. She doesn't pat herself on the back or use it to look good. She's been raised to be proper but her and her son does sideracing together and her family has been her life.

She talked about her past drug addition on the Jay Leno openingly. She is really cool to actually hear in interview. I have zero racial problems but many of you seem to. People can overcome their drug habits and past mistakes, I've seen it too many times. The past isn't the issue but more important who are they now and what do they repersent. Obama and her both had been on drugs from what I've heard.

If the media would report on her like they do other spouses then I might feel sorry for her...but it ain't gonna happen; of that we can be relatively certain given the corporate media.

I think this is Dirty Politics. Slaming a woman is not correct, even less a probable First Lady. I'm not even from the US, but Obama is my way to go. I find this disturbing news, not because of the drugs but because the harm they can cause.

She's (considered) attractive (by some) and she's white and Republican and independently tremendously wealthy by inheritance (not work). Obama's opponents in the media are more concerned with portraying his wife as some kind of threat to America and misrepresenting her (like the nonexistent video talked about where she allegedly says "whitey" when she was saying "Why'd he"). Michelle is a threat to these folks because she's brilliant and strong. Republicans like their women meek, mild (sappy and stupid), and as second class citizens or perfect hostesses. Cindy fits that bill perfectly, plus she's eye-candy.

I hate that Cindy McCain's drug problem is being drug out. I don't like her. But it seems kind of sleezy to do. Michelle Obama doesn't need Cindy's problems to prop her up she is ethical and decent and it shines through without trashing Cindy. We have someone to be proud of without using sleeze. I think the key word in the headline is "was". She was a drug addict. Granted, I'm not a fan of Cindy McCain. She could take a few lessons from Laura Bush on classiness.

As for the media, yes, it probably is unfair. To be honest, I read about her addiction on Wikipedia a few weeks ago.
