Loud-music complaint leads to box-cutter cuts

A Vineland girl was charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly used a box-cutter to cut a woman who had asked her and her friends to turn down their music around 4 am Thursday.

The incident occurred on Devonshire Place, where police initially were dispatched for a loud-music complaint at 3:55 am.

    • It says that hey released the girl to her parents because the juvenile detention facility refused to admit her on the charges!!!!! That girl needs some time to think about what she did. Those box cutters are just razor blades. She could have desperately hurt that women. I do not understand that kind of senseless crime.

    • Rage. It's a nasty problem. Can we just say this young lady was unhinged? or is it only one example of someone freaking out in our over-stressed society.

      I think there will be more and more people who will react in startling, unpredictable and violent ways.
