Four arrested in Iowa after attempted citizens arrest of Karl Rove

The local police seem to have arrested the wrong ones. Iowa legal code requires that it's citizens make an arrest and turn the individual over to authorities when it is reasonable to believe the individual has committed a felony. Rove ignored a congressional subpeona to testify in the outing of an undercover CIA opperative.
Undercover agents working for the US gov. use a front co. to hide their identity and give them reason to be in a foriegn country. Several agents use one dummy corporation as a cover. Therefore, when Plame was outed by Rove and Cheney, how many more operatives had to be relocated to protect their safety? And even moreso , how much information was lost do to this relocation and betrayal by the people charged with National Security? Treason is not a political agenda and is punishable by death.

    • Those 4 dudes rule!!! People need to understand their rights and the power of the individual to change the world. It’s just sad the local police wont stand up for their fellow citizens. This indecent has nothing to do with political parties. Over the past 50 years American has created International War Criminals from both parties. The sooner people realize this the sooner we can act and change our future.

But seriously, think about the intellectual abilities of both candidates. Think about the fact that McCain would not have gotten nearly the crowd that Obama received overseas.       uh, who cares about euro crowds, remember you still have to be a citizen of the US to legally vote for what is still the US president. When we are overtaken by the EU we can brag on euro crowds. I love Europe, but they haven't had the best track record in picking leaders in the past century or so.

    • These people are heroes of the USA. If for no other reason than they bring up the truth of the laws of our land. We are the ones responsible for making sure the laws work and the Iowan police should have known that.

      I'd like to know more, which police force arrested them? The Iowa State Police, city? And what did the judge who handled their case do about it? Are all our police and justices pawns of fear?
