Plane shoots off runway in Madrid

Finally 153 deads.
19 survivors, some of them really in danger.
Damn!

This is very sad news, I heard that one passenger a girl called her mom telling her that they had to head back to the airport and after that of course that they were leaving again and well the mom was crying because it was her only daughter, she wasn't one of the 25 that survived.
I had a that experience before where I flew out from Venezuela and 10min into the flight the pilot announced that we had to head back because we have a little problem. The other thing is that they only said it in Spanish, lucky me I can speak 4 language. But as we were landing we saw more than 5 firetrucks and ambulances. There was a fire in the front cabin and as soon as we landed it was getting really hot and we couldn't open the door, but thank god we switched plane, I can't believe that in Madrid they didn't change the planes. Sad:(

This is so sad. My thoughts are with the families involved.

this is ONE reason why I dont fly anymore.
there are some other good reasons too (carbon footprint anyone?)
but burning up in an airplane is not the way i want to die.

Sad News... Its Very Rare Plane Crashes Happen.

Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo reports that so far only 27 survivors out of 172 people on board have been pulled from the burnt fuselage. Doesn't sound like anyone has any confirmed numbers yet!!

Thoughts and prayers go out to all families involved crash..

This was flight JK5022 on it's way to the Canaries, Spain's 'Ministerio de Interior' has confirmed 45 people have been confirmed dead.

Yikes... I hope everybody is okay.

This is not the kind of news I want to hear right before I fly to Spain!!
