If they had known the convention was to be delayed the police probably wouldn't have had to stretch their mind to figure out to use a warrant that was assigned to the wrong house [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fB2feFZJoRo].
Haunted by the federal government's response or lack thereof to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Republicans sacrificed tonight's prime-time national convention opening to Hurricane Gustav and turned their concerns to victims and evacuees. Personally I think they should hold the convention at the Superdome in the middle of the storm and see how long it takes for them to get water.
