In an act of bravery that could (almost) be made for TV, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin saved a Russian film crew from an enormous escaped tiger in eastern Russia Sunday, adding yet another set of images to his cultivated portfolio of manliness.

Ive got to say I was not 100% convinced that this is true. It did seem like a bit of hype for Putin but then I think people seem to be giving him a rare deal these days.
Thanks for the link nickwe3d, I wanted to know if there was another point of view. I guess it proves that whatever press you read, getting the truth seems to be very hard.

What's bogus? The tiger freed herself, Putin tranqued it, thus potentially saving people nearby from a mauling, it's a wild tiger for pete's sake.
