I do disagree with this well-spoken fellow on one point. The Republicans ARE all about building bridges... to nowhere. Just ask Sarah Palin!

Thanks Jay! I know a lot of community organizers, some by a different title, who were incensed that they were demeaned for being active on a grass-roots political level. They do the work so the government doesn't have to! The republicans talk about getting the government to do less, but then deride the volunteers who assume those responsibilities.
Maybe if Palin, or McCain started out as community organizers, they would be more in touch with people, rather than oil companies. - 3 years ago

I understand that it's annoying not being appreciated. But I don't think everyone has oil on the mind just because they are a republican (politician wise). Not to say it's not possible that they do, just assuming so because of what they are is a horrible way of going about someone.
There are many things that point to her being such and there are several that point to her not being. But everyone answers to someone, the question is who you answer to worth serving?

So did Obama...when he talked about guns and church.
But I'm just sayin' too.
Doesn't make it right, nor should one take it at face value. But if you're going to slam one...slam them both.

Obama had it right about "clinging to guns and religion." I am from PA, and the people around here are bitter, but they are too stupid to vote their best interests.....

Wow, this guy, average Joe, that would be my friend in RL, probably yours too. He articulates his beliefs well. Even if they are thru cloudy opaque blue glasses.
Nice rephrasing of the left spin. I enjoyed listening to him... kinda. If only the words were truthful. But dude does have a cool "vibe" so how could I not watch?
Dammit. (smiles and laughs)

Very well said, SDLN...
...for me to poop on! Ah!
I kid...you hit the nail on the head with this one. Apparently, from all that was said at the RNC, we've been going about the American way of life all wrong with all this useless community service stuff, huh?

Wow, I didn't know what to expect. I am quite impressed. He summed it up quite nicely.
I would like to add that the RNC had one of their slogans as "ready to serve". Then in the next breath chastised Obama for his service.
