Rumsfeld Admits to Unaccounted, Missing 2.3 Trillion Dollars

HolyCity2012
Most Americans are not aware that on September 10, 2001, Donald Rumsfeld declared that there was 2.3 Trillion Dollars unaccounted for in the Pentagons book keeping records. 2.3 Trillion dollars is equal to and even a little greater than the entire Federal Budget for an entire year in America, and is an awful lot of money. Roughly 8,000 dollars for every man, woman and child in America. Here is a link you can copy and paste to see the CBS article on this; http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/01/29/eveningnews/main325985.shtml Perhaps, this is one of the very things which led the Administration engineering 911 as a false flag operation and blaming the patsy Muslims for this despicable act of mass murder.

    • Wow, I wish I had a job like that. When you work for the US. government you can be as irresponsible as you want. Misplace 2.3 trillion dollars, no big deal. You dont even have to be held accountable for it. And to think, the last job I had, they warned us if we even stole a pen or box of paper clips we would be fired for stealing.

    • It went to Fhadil Chalabi, Wolfowitz, Grover Norquist,Eliot Abrams, Nizar Khazraji,Ibrahaim Bhar al-Uhum, paul Bremer III, Ba'athist generals, Richard Perle,

daboz, you are stupid. It's Clinton who built up the military and who built up a surplus of 5.6 trillion dollars which bush promptly spent, then spent another 4 trillion + and that is 2005 numbers.

    • I voted this up before I read the entire passage at the top. That last sentence is a doozie! One second I'm reading about yet another blunder by what is perhaps the most incompetent administration this nation has ever seen; the next second, that incompetence is somehow being used as justification of the view that they pulled off one of the most intricate feats in this nation's history, requiring the utmost competence. Now I wish there was a feature to reverse my vote. I feel like I stumbled into a loony bin. And 94% voted up? Wow. I'll never look at Current the same again.

They get away with murder because they ACT stupid not because they are stupid..... You obviously don't understand how they are able to get away with so much.

There is so much more to this than you are willing to understand.

      ROFLMAO at a total moron.

Must have gone missing on Clintons watch then, because you can not lose that kind of money and plan 9/11 in 8 months of Bush'e term.

Likely a part of it, but you could run a hundred black ops with that kind of money and still have enough cash left over to buy a small country. They've got something very expensive in the works, which probably means that it's high tech, rare, somewhat impractical, and most importantly, BIG.

    • What's the best way to track a government bureau? How much money they spend. If they "misplace" it, it makes it harder to accuse them of anything. But 2.3 trillion is an awful lot of money, and it certainly indicates that they're doing one or more very big things they don't want us to know about.

    • Now you understand why the fortunes of the USA
have been flushed down the toilet for the past 45 years
since JFK's assasination. The Kennedies were the last
Historicaly hinged people who stood up to this unlawful
shadow govt of Organized Crime that's been vexing the
legitimate Govt. in Washington through the DOD.JFK
wanted to pull out of Viet Nam, the CIA wanted to
escalate the war so that Big Oil could claim Vietnam's
off shore oil located in the Gulf of Tonkin. So they
Murdered him and his brother, the Attorney General
with the blessing of the FBI since JFK/RFK would not allow J.Edgar Hoover to blackmail them in their afffair
with Marylyn Monroe either. Once the Govt allowed
them to get away with Murder, what's Robbery to them?
War IS Organized Crime. That it's Govt.sponsored
makes the Govt.corrupt with conflict of interest. One news story that largely went unreported in the mainstream media was that a few years back the Iraq
central bank was looted of several Billion $ in Gold
Bullion. It can be proven that's all there exists in the U.S. Fort Knox Depository.Once the Neo Cons got used to
Reagan giving them our money, then piling up the Public
Debt to cover their Void, it was only a matter of time until something too extreme to consider happened. And look how old this story is.No wonder they want to impeach Bush.As has been indicated, once they do they'll have to widen that Impeachment & Criminal Prosecution with Cheny, Rumsfeld, Pelosi etc.Every new revelation
that surfaces proves that Bush's administration is
Piracy R US.Their real flag is scull & crossbones.

    • The truth of the matter is that it probably was largely accounted for in files "destroyed" in building #7 - which is why 9/11 was perpetrated by the Busheney gang and extended co.

Think about it, what a nice way to eliminate the evidence isn't it!?

    • yes Rumsfeld made a report that the 2.3 trillion was missing the day before 9/11, and then....

the accounting dept at the pentagon was bombed that 9/11, I never heard much more about that since.,,,,,

      (except)

I heard "conspiracy theories" regarding this seeming coincidence, but as others have stated, no msm ever did much with it, wonder why?

    • Pee-losi must have recieved some for taking impeachment off the table. Tell me this thief along with Bush and Co. don,t belong in prison. The pigeons are coming home to roost Bolivia is throwing our ambassordor our for anti American activities, Pakistan has told American troops to stay out of thier country or they will shoot, the Russian's are landing thier bombers in South America, the Russians won't leave Georgia, Iraq wants us out of thier country, America has no jobs, no economy, people are loosing thier homes, banks are failing, trillions of dollars are missing and this idiot is still in the Blackhouse and the Rummy and his co-horts run free with all the money. Wow what a country, only in America can an idiot steal the election and totally ruin the country in a matter of a few years and then retire with blood money and body guards. They should all be in prison. I haven't even mention the 100,000 plus innocent people dead. In prison for life is where they belong.

    • I remember hearing about some money un-accounted for the day before 9/11 but not 2.3 trillion!!!!

The reason the main media isnt reporting it is because they are scared the administration will destroy them. If Obama is elected perhaps it will finally get out, but even then its difficult to say.

However they need to be held accountable, I really despise the lack of energy in the older generation of gov't and politics. Of course it would help if the young tried informing themselves, at least try, its so easy these days.

    • 2.3 Trillion? TRILLION!? I thought that was a joke number. Bloody hell.

I don't get how people in political jobs can just get away with such catastrophic failures as this - if this happened in a proper job they wouldn't last a minute.

    • Please, if this or any of the 911 theories sound crazy to you, just take a couple minutes and watch a video or two. Most of the time they're just pointing out simple things that don't make sense or are just plain incorrect. Make up your own mind only after listening to all the information.

      Good post.

      What a travesty.

    • It was 12 billion in cash on that plane and compared to the rest that was just a drop in the bucket.

Apparently after that outrageuously obvious waste was accomplished without anything done to stop it even after congressional hearings.

They went figured they were since from any consequences an continues for the rest of the 2.3 trillion.

If they got away with that much there most likely won't be anything done about that either.

Not even, that was only like 6 billion, and that was AFTER the 2.3 trillion couldn't be accounted for.

The spending binge on the military is worse now than it was before. Their budget is essentially unlimited.

    • Alright dude. You are on a roll. This is one story that needs to get far more popular. They cannot account for 2.3 trillion dollars? Anyone of us who came up even $60 short on our own accounts would have hell to pay and this one just sort of passes downstream without even a fart from the major media. Having looked into all of this at some depth over the last six months, I can tell you that this is one of the threads that unravels the whole sweater! Like Deep Throat said, "FOLLOW THE MONEY..." or as the Romans would ask, "Cui bono?"
