    • Matt Damon I hope you are reading what real society has to say.
Politics is a realm of advisors debating a better change in our country not Hollywood. You have a talent for acting and politicians have real acts of world handling. If you want a say then put in your vote but do not publicize your opinion as a "celebrity". Real people do not want to act for their money, they want to work for there money. I know that this country needs to find resources here in its own and work from the inside out. There is a cycle we all live by. Higher gas, less real people to afford it. those who commute will evidently start missing days of work, less paycheck, less watching movies at theaters featuring Matt Damon. This kinda cycle includes everyone and everything. You want a change then use your"HOLLYWOOD" to donate to the economy, not charity aids. Find an alternative to aleviate our and your society. Palin might be a future "president/soccer mom", it just proves that women in general can do what men do but better because we do it in highheels and stay balanced. If she can run a household, soccer, work, she sure as hell can run this country. I want you to take a good look at Palin and your wife and see who is trying to make a differnce in this world. Your comment was as sour as Lohan. To all forth coming "Hollywoodians" with any amusing opinion on politics-Quit acting and start realizing.

    • Hilarious. Matt Damon, you witty bastard. Dinosaurs have always been at the top of my political agenda. It's about time they got the coverage they deserve.

      "Hes an actor".
      Thats a moot point.
      He is an individual FIRST.
His opinion is as valid as that of our own.

      That being said,
We should thank him for using his fame in the right way.
Not many actors or musicians use their fame and the media coverage fame generates to demand answers and speak truth.

He said what we all wanted to say but couldn't.
I wanna know that shit to bro....

      Don't be a hater!!!!

Matt Damon is no Paris Hilton. Reagan was an actor at some point in his life just in case you forgot. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to form an intelligent thought. Simply reading can open up a whole world of possibilities. Maybe Palin should start with the Bush Doctrine.

    • I did not realize that she has a 1 in 7 chance of actually being President. I thought the chances of that happening were much less. This really is a scary thought.

    • Hey Matt,

They don't call them dinosaurs in the circles Sarah Palin runs in...

They are now referred to as Jesus Horses.

Oh an yes they ban books.
We don't want all those silly ants to think for themselves and stop marching now do we.

      Seriously though,
      I always liked Matt Damon.
Now I like him a lot more.
      What an intellectual.

    • Thanks to Matt Damon for speaking up! We need more celebrities standing up and influencing people's perspectives like this...

Unfortunately it is fact, at least 50% of the registered voters are making their decisions based on the television sensations... we need more responsible celebrities to stand up and speak straight with them to combat the so-called "news" networks.

    • Everyone needs to go look at the replies that jawnybnsc has written, click on the name and all the replies will come up.

Take a look at some of the replies that pro McCain current members have left, please, just take 5 minutes. It will put a lot in perspective, I don't think I need to say anything more...

    • Every American citizen, no matter if you're a circus clown, a doctor, a wedding planner, shoe shiner, or actor, has the right to discuss politics and voice their opinion!!

...especially when their opinion makes logical sense...

    • What if the answer is . . . no, she doesn't think that and no, she didn't try to ban books? What if Matt Damon is just another shallow Hollywood idiot who distorts the truth on orders from the elite liberal establishment?

      Just saying.

She did try to ban certain books.

      She does believe in creationism.

I just think that you call everyone who knows McCain is a lil' full of it an elitist.

By the way, personally I would want someone elite running my government. They would know what they are doing...stop using the warped political definition. It makes you appear less credible.

in fact she really DOES think that .. do research before you call someone shallow .. get off hollywood celebs just because they have the sense to ask important questions rather than spew rhetoric like faux news or something

    • This video cracks me up every time. I can't tell if Damon was trying to be funny or is really that earnest, but either way this is the line of the election: "I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs we're here 4,000 years ago. I want to know that. I really do. Because she's going to have the nuclear codes."

    • It burns my soul to hear people say that these Celeb's shouldn't speak their minds on political matters. Every American citizen has the right to do so and we should all wish to be so lucky as to have the platform they have to do it from. In my opinion It is not done frequently enough!
      I cheer them on!

    • Oh "mom" listen to yourself spout that Republican right wing rhetoric. Matt Damon and VSiskos are smart guys. Don't be so hard on them for asking valid and importent questions. Even though we know if McCain or Palin tried to answer them it would all be a mouth full of lies. Both McCain and Palin have been cought telling Big Fat lies and they didn't skip a beat. They just kept on telling the oh so cute story about Palin selling that jet on Ebay. It would have been a nice story if it were true. I wouldn't believe a word that Palin says, even if her tongue came notarized.

    • These wanna be one day politician actors really need to keep their opinions to themselves. They use their money & influence to try to look the part of intelligent beings when they are really uneducated morons! They must want to live under a socialist government because that is what we'll get if obama bin biden gets elected! Come on now actors need to keep their stuff on the big screen as pretending a plot... I, for one, do not care what any of them think! My vote is McCain/Palin!

Explain to me how socialism is bad. You have firefighters right? You have minimum wage right? You have affordable public transportation right? Yeah, some stupid commie-fucking-liberal fought their asses off so you can have these luxuries. Your Obama Bin Biden comment makes you look like even more of an ignorant idiot.

I'd rather a celebrity talk about politics and intellectual things than showing off his/her genitals and watching them get shit-faced at a party.

I hate how others generalize actors as "stupid."

Being an actor myself, serious actors are naturally quite intelligent. A lot is required of performers on the educational side, so you really need to think about your words next time you generalize the IQ of people in a certain profession.

Thats your problem is you dont care what other people think. Well newsflash for you mommy, sometimes what people think can slap you right in the big fat fannie when you dont get the results from the people that matter the most. Just something to consider.

No you shouldn't care about Matt Damon's opinion just because he is a famous actor, however all of his points are valid (although Putin is obviously not Pres.). Trying to tie Obama to socialism is far more ignorant than anything said in that clip... but as Noam Chomsky put it "people get the government they deserve". I am just hoping for America's sake that we aren't deserving of a McCain/Palin ticket

so the gov. using OUR tax money to bail out AIG with around 80 BILLION . . I REPEAT . . 80 BILLION of our tax dollars to bail out a corporation is fine with you?

id prefer heath care for everyone rather than money for a corporation anyday!

how about you keep your bias opinions to yourself and get off celebs who express there minds instead of bending over for big corporations...
