Sarah Palin uses teleprompter glasses

I was watching the Charlie Gibson interview with Gov. Palin and it looked and sounded like she was reading the back of her glasses. The effect is like the eyes and mouth being controlled by separate brains - eerie. So I did some research and discovered she's using an advanced prototype of teleprompter glasses (first generation of this technology shown above). The text is fed wirelessly to a small projection device in the top rim and displayed on the inside of the lens.

So don't necessarily chalk up any misstatements to her lack of knowledge or experience; could have been a congressional page at the controls.

    • I wouldn't be surprised if she did this -- I mean, if you were a GOP strategist, would you trust Palin not to say something that betrayed her ignorance? I'd love to see a link to the research, though -- otherwise it's more of a (probably correct) opinion than it is news.
