Muslim Children gassed at Dayton mosque after "Obsession" DVD hits Ohio

On Friday, September 26, the end of a week in which thousands of copies of Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West -- the fear-mongering, anti-Muslim documentary being distributed by the millions in swing states via DVDs inserted in major newspapers and through the U.S. mail -- were distributed by mail in Ohio, a "chemical irritant" was sprayed through a window of the Islamic Society of Greater Dayton, where 300 people were gathered for a Ramadan prayer service.

The room that the chemical was sprayed into was the room where babies and children were being kept while their mothers were engaged in prayers.

    • I remember this story because it happened right down the street from where I live and I'm Muslim. Amazing how ignorant people are!

    • What was done was wrong. Period. They should find who did it not place blame to get someone elected. That's just sick.

      The DVD correlation shouldn't have even been mentioned. That's trying to get Obama elected.

      Started with "you gotta love democratic hypocracy" come on now. What the heck does democratic hypocracy have to do with some devil throwing chemicals through the window of a Mosque?!

    • Come on people, for one second put yourself in there shoes. Imagine a foreign military just rolls into new york, chicago, LA and just starts shooting the shit out of everyone and you have no army to help you.

      I don't agree with what the insurgents are doing but I see WHY they are doing it on the other hand I don't agree with what America is doing and lets see why there doing it? Oil.

    • daboz- if it were the U.S military they would have just busted in on the place and shot down everyone. innocent people.dead. Like an invasion. And then they would have come up with some lie about the place being a threat when really all they wanted was power and control over the Mosque.

      JohnA- DVD or not this was a racial hate crime. It sure was not a random attack. They could have chosen any window, why did they have to choose a MOSQUE of all places?!

      Don't even try to defend this you guys. It's just plain wrong.

      It was a horrible thing to happen, there is no doubt. I'm just wondering where the writer got the connection to the crime and the DVD since there doesn't seem to be any apparant connection of the two other than coincedence.

      I don't see anything in the post that says the DVD is the reason/cause for the incident. It just says that it took place after they were distributed by mail in Ohio..the same area.

      However, I wouldn't blame anyone for assuming a connection.

    • I read the article. How do they know the children were gassed because of the DVD? The criminal report doesn't mention the DVD. Why do they think the release of the DVD caused the incident?
