I was exposed to norovirus up in the maryland area when i went to school there. We had to be quarantined for 24 hours. And the people that actually got sick were miserable.
And I dont think its just a matter of washing your hands. Cause like I said, I was with a large group of people and only some got sick but they quarantined the entire group just to make because we were in contact with everyone.

I practically live in Georgetown and the rest of the city of DC is filled with college students from GW and Georgetown University, so basically im skrewed if I decide to go to any clubs anytime soon.
At least its not an std though
