Personally I would like to think that if they have there the type that study for a test and dont care about the rest. I dont have great grades but i read each book like 3 times.

    • I love this lady, she's so much like my grandma! She'd fit right in at Thanksgiving in our extended family.
(I know it scares some people)

I very much respect that she took time to look stuff up and to record a comment. And she had alot to say. I wish she had said even more.

      Thanks for posting this!

I have been posting on youtube for over 2 years, and have added a bunch of political, without the clown makeup vids, but having trouble loading and blogging - learning the web is fearsome for us granny types.
If you click on videos numbers (80) or so, it shows all of the latest videos. I am really frustrated, and just saying what I think! Since the main stream media does not!

    • I have to agree with others posting here. If you want to make a well-informed decision, you first have to find resources which are objective, and weigh both sides of the issue. If all you seek are biased or unverified media sources, then your decisions will also be biased.

Politifact is a good independent resource which carefully researches claims made by both sides. If you watch MSNBC, also watch Fox, and vice versa. I'd avoid blogs and random emails just because they tend to be emotionally driven, and they don't cite solid references.

I have watched MSNBC be more in the tank for Obama than any other network out there. I would not trust anything they say. These associations are real. Most of them have been documented in every medium at some point, but downplayed. Resko did help Obama, and helped him get his lot next to his house, and was convicted in a court of law recently, and does have radical views from mainstream America. Ayers did say he wished they had done more in 2001, and never had to pay, and does have very radical left views and has helped Obama beyond the boards they serve on. Frank Raines and Jones did have a big part to play in Fannie and Freddie - (when McCain on May 25, 2005 submitted legislation to reign in Fannie/Freddie/ Dems shot it down)
Khalid did give college money to Obama. His ties are documented. Rev. Wright made it quite clear what he said and felt! Farrahkan does have extreme inclinations from the mainstream. These are not empty allegations!

    • Hmm, radical associations. Guilty by association, really? Simply another excuse to accessorize the underlining hatred and racism, or maybe not. How are Obama's "associations" at all comparable to McCain's? Who, by the way, WAS a tolerable man, worthy of compassion, but has transgressed to someone unbearable, and simple false. Namely, or rather most importantly, McCain's friend the "War Criminal", "The Compulsive Liar", the "Self-Proclaimed Dictator", and the "Man (Partially) Responsible for Globalization, (allowing) 9/11 to rape our minds forever, and the Last 7 1/2 Years of Shit Upon Shit, Hitting Fans, Upon Us": George W. Bush. George really tops it all off. This is why we shouldn't play such games. I'm was once friends with a self-proclaimed Satanist, simply because I wanted to understand her perspective better and she was interesting to be around when she wasn't talking about her "religion", but that doesn't mean that by extension I'm a like-minded Satanist too. To suggest that Obama shares the same views as these "radicals" is to, in parallel, suggest that McCain's association with Bush qualifies him as another person to scapegoat for all things fucked up in this world right now. Neither camp should go there. In all fairness, there's something to be said about people's friends. But it's not the most accurate indicator of a person's character. In my opinion, of course. :)

    • And this is a prime example of media control....someone posts a link about Sarah Palin winking during her debate and there's 30 some odd responses asap. You view a video that contains legitimate info about Obama's past, people who he has been involved with, etc.. and no one cares? 2nd page already with 4 responses? No one cares to look in to the homeland terrorists he's associated with? The book that really isn't favorable towards "all" americans?

I'm not voting for either, so I can honestly sit back and say that "wow", Obama is really ruling the media. It's sad that someone as politically scandalous as the next is being looked at as saint and saviour for the Hope and Change of America. Thanks for voting on the bailout before you tax the shit out of us Obama! Jack ass. And high five to you media pawns too! Way to go sheeple.

    • I agree our 'news media' hahahahaha has been acting like Pravda for Obama. The effect Obama has on the 'news media' hahahahaha through 'branding' and playing the race card is reason enough for me to vote against Obama.

If Obama had a track record on national security instead of just making speeches, maybe I could overlook the fact that the Weather Underground recruited him as a pawn for their anti-American agenda. But since Obama has no track record, I can't give him the benefit of the doubt.

    • Are you insane or just ignorant. If you are remotely internet savvy...go to Factcheck.org...Wikipedia. Relying on emails from bigots and neo-cons does not give you any proper perspective. McCain has more ghosts in his closet than nearly any candidate for President in History. This is just an ignorant elderly female pissed off that Hillary lost. The media would be more than happy to exploit these accusations. BUT THEY ARE NOT TRUE.

I'm pretty tired of hearing Obama saying McCain's statements are "Just not true" without actually backing up that statement. Since when does that let anyone off the hook for an accusation?

    • I'm not voting for John McCain because i do not agree with his policies and think they are detrimental to this country. That being said I won't be voting for Obama either, because I believe he agrees with McCain more than opposes him on issues on the whole, has not gained my trust, and has questionable policies regarding the environment. Also, their yea vote on this bailout giveaway to Wall Street cinched my decision for me.

However, I am glad you brought up the issue of the media regarding what we know or don't know. I think there are associations of both candidates that the media has not told us about, and I agree they should be known. All I really know of Obama is that he was a "community organizer" and was in the Illinois state legislature...but not much is said about all that he did while there. And since those who support him on these sites never deem to post anything about all of the good he supposedly did but decide instead to constantly give more and more attention to Sarah Palin, I know even less.

So with only a couple of weeks left until the election I know that he was a community organizer who was in the state legislature for eight? years, and spent most of the three years he has had in the US Senate campaigning for president.

As for McCain, I know he has continually voted down bills that would push forward alternate energy and was a POW. And that is what we the American people are supposed to base an informed decision on according to our media. So I do think that we need more information and explanation on associations of all candidates, but with the nature of our media as it is and political partisanship that prevails now, I doubt we will see it anytime soon unless people look beyond political bias to seeking truth.

    • Then comes the point of McCain's POW records.

When those records become unclassified, then your point is valid. Until then, the media is at most times more easy on McCain, especially since Palin has stolen the attention on his own ticket.
