Having seen the entire debate, I've several comments. First McCain was trying to be all over the page and ended up looking like a total ass. Sorry, but watch JM's body language, the passive disrespect he displayed, as if he was lowering himself by being there. During one question BO was answering, JM actually started strolling around the stage!!! This was really mature. Obama was attentive and respectful even with having disagreements. This NEXT DEBATE I think Barack needs to really get in his face. Call him on the lies he and SP have been spreading.Have memorized the DOZENS of negative "associates" McCain has had over the years, and there are a bunch. I'm hoping he will self implode with his short temper, especially if he thinks Barack is beating him. By the way: remember, I JM promised a crazy person in the crowd at a rally that he would ask Obama about Ayers in this debate!!!! OK we'll see

What I couldn't understand is why John McCain was acting like he drank 80 shots of red bull. He was blinking like a maniac. He couldn't even sit down for more then 4 seconds. What's up with that? Am I the only one who noticed this?

For those of you who wish to burry your head in the sand you better think twice about this election. Now we have a mess here in Ohio (and other states) thanks to the Obama campaign.
His early get out and vote campaign has caused quite the havoc. Voter fraud is now rampant.
Watch the video below.

P.S. Democrat's are followers and Republican's are leaders....
Seem's that "THAT ONE" is herding them up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can gather from McCain's campaign is you should vote for him because Obama is a rediculously poor choice.
And if he did have the better ideas I wouldn't know because he spent so much time trying to prove Obama is naive and it's not convincing.

i just responded to a contributor. i have two sons in the military one army the other navy. they a military men plain and simple and we cannot talk to each other about the war. I support them completely as well as all our sons and daughters fighting a dumb war. Although, they have heard me say this and would simply not comment, probably, because I am their mother. You must understand this from an economic perspective and from a mothers heart. On son is home now, but was on the Lincoln headed for home when they were turned around to spend the next 11 months over there fighting a dumb war. the other is on the ground now as i type and i am so worried. I did not worry so much about the one in navy because he was on a carrier, but the one that is on the ground now, is tugging on my heart strings. Although, they would be the first to say don't worry, we knew what we were getting into and it is our job and our duty to serve. I feel as if they are being manipulated by a irresponsible political system who only objective is to continue a war that was not worth fighting in the first place. Where r the weapons of mass destruction? Where is B Ladin? What have our sons and daughters died for? Is this war strengthening our economy? What do we hope to gain from spending billions of dollars a day on a war, while our economy is in shambles. Why are we helping to rebuild Iraq when we helped tear it down? Why is it that Iraq has a surplus in their coifures and we have a large deficit? Why is is that we must borrow money from others country's just to maintain our own? Why is it that the United States, my country, is no longer respected around the world? Why is it that we are in a recession, depression and a soon to be succession ( because china will soon own us)? Why is it that Mccain wants to continue the failed economic and political policies of W? What did we do with the money that Clintion left as a surplus? Tell me why an average guy doesn't know how many houses he has? Tell me why people are trying to compare SP to HC, when it so obvious there nothing in the bobble head, winking, six pack, moose murdering/skiinning that remotely close to HC, except that she is a woman?
Tell me why Senator McCain referred to Senator Obama as, "The Other?" Tell me if you think the other means "BOY?"Answer these questions and then tell me why u believe a Warmonger/Moosemurder/skinner, respectively, Mccain and Palin should be allowed to run this country?

i think obama is going to get to be president but still what he had said in augest and september that our troops there in iraq is bastcly not his problem and that he thinks!... they should finish what they r suppose to do...well they have bush i think just wants half of america to just die off same with Obama everyone knows that he isn't going to do what he had promist us just like bush.... Bush had said that he would keep america safe well he hasn't and it's been a long time we have been waiting...
So basicly what i am trying to say is hopefully Obama keeps to his word or changes his mind about our troops and brings them home - 3 years ago

it is time for a change. Let me just say this so you will fully understand where i am coming from. I did not ask to come to this country of immigrants, my ancestors were brought here aboard slave ships just many britts, irish and others. we were referred to as slaves, others were referred to as indentured servants. Wow what a difference. all through the years i have been looked upon as a second class citizen or a less than worthy individual. i am tired of the way america views black americans. they think just because we were denied the right to read in the 1800's that we must be stupid. wrong wrong, no one wants to admit that this country was partly built on the backs of black americans and it is time that people of all races get their props. You took this land from the american indians and placed them on reservations, there is a pattern of i feel entitled. you have called barrack elite, how can and when ever will this racist society ever allow a black man or woman to be elite?
give props when due, obama won the debate and I pray to my father in heaven that he wins this election, just to prove that we are good for something other than picking cotton. perhaps he can straighten the mess out that w has made and return this country to it rightfull status in the world. I think that most people who are concerned with the overall welfare of their country would not object to paying taxes AS LONG AS they were spent wisely and carefully with the benefit of all citizens in mind. It is a hard hearted person who will object to paying a few extra dollars each month to ensure that others are not in poverty.
Independant also confuses a "national health system" with socialism - it has nothing to do with it and he/she should look at the Canadian, French and UK systems which are all 100% supported by their electorates regardless of their political affiliation. It is also wrong to suggest that doctors would be paid badly in such a scheme - there is no evidence for that at all. According to the BBC most family doctors in the UK are earning over $200,000 per year.
To suggest that the US healthcare system because it is based on free-market principles is better or fairer than a national health scheme is also completely false. The free market by its very nature exists to make as much money as possible for its shareholders - customers are there to be charged as much as the market will allow with every possible tactic used to maximise profit. That is perfectly acceptable in say a retail environment but we are talking here about life or death.
Everyone knows that without your health money is useless. So in my definition a wealthy nation is not one that has a high proportion of millionaires per capita. It is a nation that has a low infant mortality rate, a low death from cancer rate, a high life expectancy and other measures across the board. According to the World Health Organisation the USAs health system ranks 37th out of 191 worldwide and guess who comes first - France. Time for a change?

We better be interested enough to tell on whom we will vote for. I know both these candidates very well by seeing first hand what they do for their individual state. I've lived in both for several years. Taxes are very high in Illinois. They tax everything they can put their fingers on. So, if you believe Obama will not tax you...you're only fooling yourself. From real estate taxes to road tolls. I payed over $7,000.00 in real estate taxes alone each year. Rediculous!! Arizona was very reasonable. It's sad, because this year we finally have an honest man who has clawed his way to the top by sacrificing and fighting the entire time for his country and state. He doesn't speak as well as Obama, but I can assure you he's genuine. He quit the campaign trail to go back to Congress because he was emailed by many people in his state to get back to work. This is what the tax payers in his state were paying him for. This is the McCain that I know. He didn't waste our states tax dollars and tell us, "Call me if you need me." Again, he's honest. You see what you get. With Obama, he starts as a community organizer in "ACORN" , gets into Yale sponsored by someone in Saudi Arabia, wins his place as a senator by both opponents having marital affairs, was sponsored by Ayers, and you take it from there. From his community leader position to his pastor at his church for 20 years (Even Oprah Winfrey left the church) , there are too many questions unanswered. I can only conclude this election is based on one major factor.Do you want a free market society or do you want socialism? Obama wants government-run medical care and thinks it's the "right" of everyone to recieve it. This is socialism. Do you think you will get proper medical care in a socialistic setting? I can assure you...you won't. Doctors would never spend that much time in medical schools for the pay in a socialized medical setting. Lastly, taxing the rich and giving to the poor is also socialism. Think about it. Someone in the family of the rich clawed their way to the top. They are the only ones providing the "non"-minimum wage good jobs (ie, supervisors, managers, ect) with great benefits. Tax the rich and they end up like the Wal Marts hiring almost everyone part time so they don't have to pay benefits to their employees. We may be crying about what is going on in our country right now, but go outside the USA and live in another for a while. With all our faults, we live in the best country in the world. Quit watching TV and check out all their "real" records on the internet.

Independant:
Socialism is the wrong term for Obama's plan. It is slightly left of center but is not socialism.
Socialized medicine means that doctors would be government workers and hospitals would be government owned. Universal health care means that everyone has a right to get health care without going broke (a contributing factor in this crisis).
It doesn't specifically say that health care is a right in any where in our constitution but it is. People have the right to shop around but without regulations put in place and reforms made we'll have major problems. The woprst thing a president could do now is to do nothing, especially with so many people uninsured and denied treatments for serious illness and pay out of pocket .(which will only grow) Obama has a plan. The current system is inefficient and wasteful to argue otherwise is rediculous. If you don't want anything to change you might later in life when it's your parents or you that are ill.
As far as cutting taxes for the poor, people spend more when they don't have to pay as much taxes.

I think McCain could have been more aggressive with Obama about his inexperience, and talking about genocide--it was like Obama forgot that Saddam Hussein committed acts of genocide against the Kurds in Iraq. McCain totally missed that one. And I think Obama could have called McCain out for repeating the same campaign rhetoric over and over again. At least Obama answered questions more directly rather than going off on a tangent that really didn't answer anything. Overall I think Obama's ability to engage, relate and frankly come across as more coherent than his opponent is what has given him the edge.

Incidently, I have two sons currently serving in the military, on was on the Lincoln when they were turned around and sent back, they stayed out there for more than 11 months. I have another son who is currently serving in Iraq in the army/infantry on the ground. I worry about him constantly. The one in the navy is an e-5 and he was on a carrier and I was not that worried. My father served in the military and you must be crazzzy. we all want our children home. I cannot talk to my sons about this because that is their career choice and they follow orders to the letter. They are military men plain and simple. I am a parent and I don't care what they think, it was a stupid war, that should not have taken place. They found no weapons of mass destruction, we are spending billions each day that could be used right here at home to aid the many who have lost their jobs, are loosing their homes and can not afford to buy their medication. You r sad and well?

I was interested to see which way the candidates would head on the energy issues. I agree more drilling is necessary, but hasn't either of them heard about the T-Boone Pickens plan. We can be energy independent in 5 years not 25. The USA is not the only technolgy wise nation in the world, they are running cars on compressed air. Where is there vision on this technology and it's implementation.

Drove me insane. He is no friend of mine. And I get saying it once or twice but seriously. I should have counted. Had to be like 20-30 "My Friend" in there.
In all seriousness though, I don't like how he isn't quick enough to just sit there and pay attention and speak. He had to take notes. Hes going senile. Bad memory. He had to write down the questions to be able to answer them. Not good. I want someone in office that is sharp... and who can sit down for longer than 10 minutes

History tells us things! Helps us to kind of predict yet to come happenings... Obama is sure to become the next president of the USA, after 8 years of very poor and confusing presidency by Mr. Bush. Here in Brazil, after 6 years of very strong leadership by Mr: Lula, what we are expecting is a "continuation" of right decision making processes and policies. Over there in the USA, I am afraid, Mr. Obama will have to "start all over again and get the finantialy bankrupt country back to its feet. Probably, as Christians did in the Fiji Island, the Americans will have to get back on their knees first and acknowledge that, the God they proclaim in each dollar bill they trust, is THE ONLY PROVIDER, of all wisdom, energy and life... yet to come!

barrack has not captured my heart and he is not that cute, he is, intelligent, and he has a plan for the long road of recovery ahead of us.
no one wants to admit that the reps got us into this mess, we had a surplus when bill left office following a deficit when GHB left office, do you not see the cycle. these people are war mongers. instead of going after the people who damaged our country so vividly in 911, they went into Iraq???? Obama was only 8 or 9 years old when Ayers did all that stupid shit.
Now I ask you, what happened in Arizona with the S&L scandal way back then that involved another Bush and a McCain, Then now you have the Keating Five
no one is perfect but I see so much corruption on the rep side and it is obvious to all but a bunch of racist war mongers that would just as soon see this country owned by the chinese that see a black man at the helm. I feel sorry for you - 3 years ago
