No . . . what you'd like to do is silence conservatives and silence dissent. I'll talk about the economy, unemployment, the housing crisis and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan all day. Of course you don't want to hear what I have to say on those subjects either. So quit trying to pretend that it's all about the issues.

What I and almost everyone voting in this election would want to do is to silence the hatred no matter which side it is coming from. The election should be about the issues and not about hatred.

That has to be the most unrealistic response to a posting I have ever seen. Neither McCain or Palin will talk about ANY of these issues. I mean, I commend YOU for wanting to, but I really do not care to hear a bunch of die hard republicans talk about them, I want to hear what THEY have to say about them.
What I see is them telling America that they will not talk about them in debates, refusing to talk to reporters at all, telling me that they are being unfairly attacked by completely radical questions such as "what magazines do you read?", and talking constantly about Obama's character!
Are you serious? You would love to talk about the issues, but your candidates wont, and it is US who want to silence dissent and you conservatives... what a laugh you are!
I know your candidates embarass you, but seriously, WE are silencing THEM? No, THEY have CHOSEN to be silent! Talk with them pumpkin, not us!
