Negativity is only ONE aspect of McCain's campaign. EVEN WORSE is the willingness of people to go along without engaging their brains enough to consider FACTS.
I ran across this old item after walking away from our TV on Nov. 2.
I left the room because McSame was in Pennsylvania spouting the same old L-I-E-S about Obama personally and campaign positions.
PLUS -- he has such a shallow and narrow grasp of technologies, energy options, etc. that it made
me sick to my stomach.Negativity is not so strange in ANY campaigns, but ignorance and just plain stupidity are inexcusable.

Ms. Walsh, couldn't agree more strongly! For many, many weeks I felt like I was the only one appalled at the tenor of this campaign!! And that the mainstream media only fueled the fire. Ignorant and dull-minded news producers have chosen to pursuit these lines of reporting [giving credence to the foul, misleading and simply false blathering from "McPalin"] while we are in the middle of a near catastrophic economic meltdown. There have been seeds planted here, now. Those of suspicion, doubt and hatred, and after the election I fear we will all be a bit smaller for it.

I'm fairly certain that this is not the first campaign the EIC of salon.com has covered, stranger2315. You find the campaign 'mild'? Because I've never seen one candidate characterize his opponent as a terrorist before.

Joan, really! you're offended by negative campaigning? Is this your first campaign? This is mild compared to previous campaigns.
With all due respect. - 3 years ago
