Stolen Election: Democracy Though The Shredder

AndreaKnoll
Now that we are getting down to the final days of the campaign, it’s time to take a look at how Republicans will steal this election. Bush stole the 2000 election by purging voters from voter rolls in Florida. Tens of thousands of mostly black “felons” were removed from the voter rolls by Kathleen Harris and Bush won by a tiny number of votes. Then in 2004, the election was stolen in Ohio via several insane tactics, like removing the press from a building where votes where being counted due to “national security reasons.” Election officials in Ohio have been convicted of charges related to their handling of the recount. You’d have to be a fucking moron not to believe the election was stolen in that state in 2004.

So, now here we are, facing another theft as Republicans do everything they can to prevent Americans from voting. One of the big attempts to stop people from voting in Ohio was thwarted by the Supreme Court last week......

    • C'mon. Nobody gives a crap about US Citizens' rights anymore. They have taken our privacy, our rights to free speech and bear arms, freedom of religion and more...and somehow they've made us think it was for our own good.

As far as our right to democracy...that's easy enough to subvert. All they have to do is put it on the TV and enough of us believe it is true. Create a few "important issues" and get us all sufficiently polarized to a simple left/right mentality and we're CONVINCED that our vote counts.

Anyone who thinks it actually makes a difference which party holds power is just a silly child. The only difference it makes is which special interests benefit most.

There are a few groups which benefit no matter which party is in charge...look there for clues as to who is really running the show. Then, sit back with your popcorn and Coke and watch the dogs and ponies trot.

    • I truly believe that attempts to steal this election will fail due to state and national justicial leaders who won't stomach elected officials stomping all over US citizen's rights anymore.
The tide isn't turning. The tide has turned.

    • Don't let the Bilderberg hear you say that Will, it would make you a subversive. There is a time and reason for everything that is happening. I wonder of this election will be stolen too. If it is too public and too controversial to attempt this election, they will wait until 2012 to proceed with their plans. This is not conspiracy, it is fact, little known I grant you, but fact just the same.

    • ....there has never been an honest election...and Will never be.....I put this on another site...this would stop this mess.......Here is a choice....let the Senators from each state be president for one week...go in alphabetical order.....one can be president and one president of vice....no furniture or drapes can be changed..they must order take out food to cut costs...nothing pertaining to their state may be done during their week...this would give all states esteem and unite the country......all major things must be voted on by the House and Senate.....this would save money that goes into the presidential election every four years...and after eight years of George Bush and Dick....do we really need a president?....we could take anyone for a week....and the best two get an extra two weeks....and they would vote it in in a heartbeat.....Golden Ruler...Will....
