Oil prices aren't determined by arabs. They are determined by OPEC whose president also happens to be the President of Venezuala. And since when is making deals with Iraq a bad thing? Aren't we supposed to be trying to rebuild their country or something? I think a possibility of doing so could be done without drive-by like shootings down the streets of Baghdad. And before you criticize Islam, maybe you should look at what it really is instead of what fundamentalists are corrupting it are doing...A real Muslim carries many of the same values as christians, in fact they come from the same original religion and they keep many of the same stories. Some of the real differences lay in certain practices like, zakat or the laws of Islam. In actuality a Muslim President wouldn't be too different than a Christian president if you are going off of a moral compass.

I don't believe in religion and yet I am SURE i have done more philanthropic work than mo1y has. I don't need some bogus book telling me how to rule my life... nor do i need the pretense of trying to get into heaven as a way for me to do good.

I don't need a religion to carry a box of food in my car at all times to give to anyone who is in need. Even though I struggle to pay my own bills, even though I have my own trials to get past... I'll always help those in need. And hopefully i'll be moving to a new job where I can further my philanthropic work to help students. Religion didn't teach me that... a good upbringing did. So enough of your religious crap.

Man I know what you mean, my full name is a very common Pakistani name. I get "randomly selected" every time I get on a plane. Once they tried to tell me that I couldn't fly because I missed my flight, even though I was an hour early, so that I couldn't fly. Wow and I all that just from a name and a visa...not like these injustices are that bad, but it just shows that people support them. If we were a land of equality then we wouldn't have children starving on the streets, or public education be separated by how rich you are. In my city, it used to be a mill town, everyone had a relation to it, then all these people making 250,000+ moved there. They actually made two separate schools for kids that were richer and those that are poorer...shows what kind of America we live in today.

Since when was there some presidential qualification saying that you had to be a christian to be president? Religion is supposed to be separate from government.

This country was founded on the ideas of the first Amendment which include the freedom of religion. THIS would mean that SHOULD a man of muslim faith decide he would like to run for presidency... whether it is Obama (who happens to be a Christian) or Keith Ellison who IS a Muslim, they should NOT be persecuted for their religion or shown the hatred that YOU and YOUR FRIENDS have spat out. That a persons religion should NOT matter, nor should the color of their skin, the state their were raised, who they were raised by, whether or not they go to church, temple (uhm, thats where the Jews go... you know... the Jews... another religion you probably hate?).. or Mosk.
