The Los Angeles Times is refusing to release a videotape that it says shows Barack Obama praising a Chicago professor who was an alleged mouthpiece for the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was a designated terrorist group in the 1970s and '80s.

According an LA Times article written by Peter Wallsten in April, Obama was a "friend and frequent dinner companion" of Rashid Khalidi, who from 1976 to1982 was reportedly a director of the official Palestinian press agency, WAFA, which was operating in exile from Beirut with the PLO.

    • Exactly. McCain gave HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to the same person.

Seriously, Republicans, THANK YOU for wasting the last week of this election with even more unsuccessful smears. I can't think of a better use of your time.

    • but what they fail to mention is that McCain also has ties to the same person, but fox news doesn't want you to know that. i wonder, why? do your research before you make judgements on a person. dont be ignorant!
McCain donated or raised money for Khalidi. there is always two sides to a story.

    • The reason many americans are scared right now is watching the hypocrisy of so many... the enormous numbers of seemingly ignorant and oblivious people in this country shows why we are declining in every measurement...

When an organization or affliation leads its members to feel empowered to only respect the constitutional rights of its supporters, fear abounds. My freedom of speech has been stolen be the liberal left.

If you assert Obama to be change, I would agree, to believe any/all change to be good, is absolute stupidity. Obama Lies just like the rest of them, and has much to hide, but noone seems to care. Ashame, as if you think this country is messed up now, just wait to he rips apart the constitution. Anarchy is on its way.

    • Are you kidding me? With McCain receiving 85% negative coverage from the media? Do you really think the people of this country are getting accurate reporting on the issues at hand? I don't. If there is news.... I want to see it and judge for myself.... I don't want newspapers deciding what I can see and know! That's not a democrasy. The LA Times better put it out there for the people.... why should they refuse? Are they trying to influence the outcome of an election? Let the truth be told... and the people decide!
