    • as a mccain supporter, i am not dissapointed in the results of this election. the two candidates were battling hard, and the better man won. im looking forward to the "change" that is promised, and we can only go up from here. god bless america.

    • I agree unimatrix0. Though it's good to be critical, discerning, and fully cognizant of political corruption and decay, we must pursue our hopes and dreams wholeheartedly and continually take steps towards what we deem the best and brightest of worlds. When a window of opportunity opens, you better go through it while it's still open even if you are surrounded by cynics who are not yet wholeheartedly convinced. You have to keep moving towards that better world one step and one day at a time with whatever opportunities you have.

Few people inspire me as Obama does so often in his speeches and discussions...If his work is on point like his speeches, significant positive change is within the reach of MILLIONS of engaged, inspired citizens. It's a better time than ever to get involved!

    • We must put aside our doubts and shun the cynics. There will always be those who will say "no we can't". We must remain true to the dream: Yes we can!

    • Oh How quick we forget! I'm not saying I'm sorry Obama won the election, so please don't put words in my post, but... How many times has someone been elected president on the platform of "Change". People Come ON! The president doesn't have the power to direct that much change without the backing of both houses. The only reason G.W. has been able to do what he's done is because he broke laws to do it, AND no one has the balls to call him on it. Obama will be no different.. He'll get into office with all his good intentions, see the stone wall built to stop changes, & settle in for his 4 yrs of puppetry. Its not his fault, its our fault we've let politicians get this far with their corruption, & the only way its going to change is if "We the people" demand it to change in the streets with civil disobedience. Throughout history, thats the only way governments change. I don't see that happening because people don't have convictions anymore. We all have our price & are willing to compromise because its politically correct. Obama's just one man & one man can't bring the changes everyone seems so eager to NOT stand up for. So.. we have what we have, & will continue with what we have.

    • I truly think he will bring change and try to thoughtfully bring this nation back on course with intelligent people in his cabinet. People that will allow him to fulfill his goals for America.

      Thank God for Obama!!!

    • Mark my word...Promises will now turn into performance. He will face extreme challenges, but our newly engaged and unified America electorate will be on his side.

We, the People supported him with the essential grassroots effort that brought him to office, and We, the People will hold him accountable.
