Congress Must Act Before January 20th Or There May Be No Accountability Ever

But we the people do not have to wait. We can and must demand the immediate impeachment of both Bush and Cheney for what is already known. At the very least the defiance of congressional subpoenas at the behest of the White House is an open and shut case for accountability now.

Because as his final constitutional insult, his final spit in the face to the American people and all rule of law, it is transparently obvious that Bush is planning the most wholesale and wrongful pardon of the worst political criminals in American history, his whole criminal gang, INCLUDING himself.

    • The ones that would vote this down are the righties who are ok with the prospect of living in a fascist country. Like GW said, it would be easier if this was a dicatorship, as long as he is the dictator...ha, ha....

What the righties don't realize is that even if their guy is the dictator, eventually they will be oppressed as well as anyone else, because corrupt power will eventually oppress all citizens.

GW comes from a long line of fascists, his grandfather Preston went to Germany and Italy in the '30s and returned to the US openly promoting fascism for the US. Luckily FDR saved us from that fate.

It seems that the righties go to every posting just to vote it down, they don't have the courage, logic or knowledge to argue a point, it's just blind resistance. Our best response is to factor in the expectation of the behavior and then ignore it.

On impeachment-it is absolutely appalling that it has not happened so far. If there is no accountability for the crimes of this administration, the next one that tends to behave in unlawful ways will take it further, their crimes will be greater.

Americans and the world need to know that we will hold criminals and traitors accountable, even if they are rich and powerful.

    • This is a great test for americans.

Do they actually care about the rule of law?

Do they really value their own liberty, security and privacy?

Do they truly believe that it is wrong to go to other countries, bomb and kill innocent people?

Or are americans a simple, lazy, indifferent and selfish?

      Voting Obama is not enough.

      Complaining is not enough.

You have to get involved and make sure that your country does the right thing.

      EDIT:

Who he fuck would down vote this?
